Using an instance to hide a raiding team

Just read this in Wow forums and it was pretty cool. I am sure people have done it before but made me think it might be fun to do this in ORG one day. I imagine a lock and a few others could get to Ragefire Chasm and start summoning people. That might be pretty cool to attack ORG from the middle. lol..

Ay :S tis bloody annoying :P It happens every so often on my server.. although the allis don't get very far ^^ the OG portal from Shattrath is around 200yrds away so the army can be summoned in a matter or minutes :P

Plus we have some insane people here every now and then :P the sort of ones that wipe out half the raid in seconds (makes me want to box mages :P )

That happened on Kalecgos about two years ago. Horde got a warlock and a couple rogues into the Cathedral basement, then summoned around 250 horde and raided SW. Pretty cool event.. guess it didn't happen since I was having too much fun to grab some SS's.. maybe someone else has some.

That is an insane amount of soul shards!
That's what happens when they kept summoning locks with more.. and that was what they said was the limiting factor of it - they ran out of shards. :)

Depending on what lvl they are they could use the summoning stone also.

Couldn't you duel each other to get more?No. You need to kill a mob that would yield xp, or an enemy player that yields honor upon death.

But I have done 3x level 20 warlocks in SFK for shards. Mmmm 3 warlocks with packful of shards....

I was hoping to use this tactic when I summon everyone to the hogger raid on the 19th.

To get a shard the target must die and give you honor. So no would not work.

Just fill your bags with soul stones before hand and you should be good.

I was hoping to use this tactic when I summon everyone to the hogger raid on the 19th.If your locks are low enough, you can find mobs in nearby Duskwood to farm for shards. Should be quick work with a team of people to finish off all the mobs you are draining...

That forum just reminded me of something on my shadowpriest on Smolderthorn server.

One day 5 alliance warlocks death ran into org and wall jumped ontop of thralls building out of LOS, mostly out of sight.
They all continued to log for about 4 days, litterally everyone forgot about them.
On the fifth day they summoned 3 guilds and zerged the shit outta Org. I would estimate abour 150people, With my fast computer it brought me down to about 10fps.
Killed thrall easily, and just walked through the rest of org.

It was a sad day for horde, even funnier day for alliance.

Would it be easier to just have everyone make a human toon and be close to the objective? Naked humans killing Hogger? Meh...
