Shamans

I just started a set of 3 Orc shamans on the lovely Magtheridon server :) I am now level 6 and I'm just wondering what level I should bother using totems? I kill so fast I don't think I need them now. And Ive never played a shaman. So what level have fellow shamans started using totems? Also should I be skipping the gathering quests at level 6? Or should I do them for now until I'm higher level? I'm having a lot of trouble with some of them, they take like 15 min per char, atleast. And I don't think if I should skip them because I don't know if they're part of a quest chain..

Use totems when you can't kill the mob without them.

That's when you use totems. :D

Dont forget totems are great for ligthing up the place for a screen shoot :) cant wait until i goet 20 of those enjoyable homes for future woodpeckers :)

I use them for mood lighting.

Just hit level 12 on my 3x Shaman team and thus, just got the Fire Nova totem.

Not very mana efficient but it's always fun to pull a mob with LB, put those down, then have it get blown to bits as it nears.
