Hey people :D

My real world of warcraft is bought, and should arrive within a week:)

Alot of pre-work have been done, macro's done, ui setup and copied so i dont have to do alot of that when im ready to play
Also, i've been around on alot of servers and, after excusing that i'm not either a noob or a goldseller, asked people about the different realms

But, i've not been able to find any good realm, with no multiboxers on already.
How is it to be on a realm with another multiboxer?

-Will everyone say "oh just a multiboxer" instead of the "wtf lol haxx reported"? :p
-Should i aim to be enemy or ally to the existing multiboxer?
-Do you think it matters that i'm aiming to play the same class-combination as the existing multiboxer?

Thanks for a unpatient incoming PAYING multiboxer

i myself am on a server that doesnt really like multiboxers.
Ii have many more fans cheering me on, i mostly see "lol wtf haxx" or "Meeo is a fat bastard and has no life" or etc etc the list goes on.

Personally i make friends with the ones who are more interested and ignore the ones who talk crap. i aim to be an ally and and enemy. Multiboxing is your time and money, not anyone elses, dont let that affect your judgement in what 'you' want to play. Just be prepared to talk with a GM in the future at least once, they will verify all your accounts have the same billing and name, and then they will let you be on your way.

Burning Legion Horde side was very cool with it. I got the occasional driveby BOT!!! comments, but that was it.

However, the Alliance side of Burning Legion? Not so OK-with-it

I currently box on Shadowmoon Alliance side, but log into my horde shaman on Burning Legion once in a while.

My Horde Shaman on Burning Legion - Malicea, Maliceb, Malicec and Maliced

My Alliance Priest/Hunters on Shadowmoon - Lokked, Lookked, Lookkeed, Lokkeed and Lookeed

I actually have experienced very little nerdrage & random hate. Mostly I get these questions (in roughly this order):

OMG! WTF?
How did you do that?
How did you get them all to look alike?
Do you have to pay for five accounts?
So you're going to sell these accounts, right?
Can I get a (DM/SM Cath/ZF/ST) run?

I've been friended by about a dozen total strangers. Half of them check in on me at random times. Like in the middle of the ZF pyramid event.

Most people either think it's really cool, or just a waste of time and money. I made the mistake of boosting some of them when I was trying to get some of my own characters evened out xp wise. I even "hired" a loot minion and she loots all the corpses for me so I don't have to bother, and we split the proceeds 50 50. Win win for me cause I get tired of looting/bag space management after a while, so even getting 50% is good. I made a few hundred gold off of Deadmines stuff. Of course I haven o way of knowing how much was actually earned, but it's good enough for me. I imagine it will only get better as I run higher and higher lvl instances.

I don't see much in the way of negative at 70 but I ran into quite a few people that accused me of "botting, cloning, cheating in some unknown way, etc." while leveling. I am the only 5 boxer on my server but there are quite a few people that dual box so a lot of people tend to know about boxing.

The most common questions I get anymore are the "are you paying for 5 accounts" and "will you run me through instances".

In BGs I have had idiots tell everyone I'm cheating, on one occasion I had a guy flaming non-stop the entire time to report me afk because I was going to cause an automatic loss that I was afking with 5 characters. We 4 capped that EOTS and won real quick, the guy of course never did bother to apologize.

I try to keep a couple things in mind when dealing with these types..

haters gonna hate and ignorance is most definitely bliss

rofl so true!!! the 3rd one about getting them to look alike often starts off as "how do you clone your 70s?"

Eonar US has about 5 MBers over both factions that we know of so far and ppl are getting used to it.

i really only get to play while at work so i am still low level (10 atm). how do you guys deal with higher level tools (so far it has been several 50-60's in goldshire) camping on your beginning quests?

i have never had to interact with a gm until i started multiboxing.......

my favorite is someone runs by asking for help...then when they realize all my toons look alike, they say wtf hacker.....reported.

i dont help anyone anymore needless to say.

I am, to my knowledge, the only multiboxer on my server (Trollbane - Horde - US).

You will get a lot of people stopping, and "wtf"ing, but to be honest, I've not had a lot of negativity. A few "get a life"ish comments, but I just ignore it. Most of the conversations I've had have either been positive, or just neutral questions (want to know how it works).

Most of the time, people just stop and follow me and don't say anything. A few have said multiboxing is against "TOS." One said it was against the "LUA," that made me laugh a bit. I haven't had a GM convo yet (its only been a couple of weeks). I've opened tickets to say who I am, and that I'm multiboxing, but I've not had a response yet. For the most part, I ignore everyone, good and bad alike. If i stopped to talk every time someone whispered me I'd still be doing Brill quests. That's why I like instance grinding during peak server hours, and questing early morning or late night.

Almost every screenshot of conversations with GMs that I have seen, on this site and elsewhere, make it seem as though multiboxing is fine, provided; a) you own all accounts you're boxing on b)you aren't using software that automates any process c) in conjunction with (b) you have to be at the keyboard, and clicking or keying to get any action from your toons.

One GM told someone straight up they have people there at Blizz who 5 box and that most GMs know all about it. It seems to me that the safest thing you can do is avoid any software or addon that might remotely look automated to a GM. But if you hvae to press "2" to make all 5 toons do something, that isn't automation.

Anyway just wanted to chime in here since about 3 months ago I saw my first multiboxer and thought "OMGWTFHAX"...just kidding. But I did think to myself "How the HELL is he doing that?"

I got a funny "lol keyclown ?" yesterday evening
some "get a life" or "cheat" but most of comments are "gratz" and so.
