After much frustration on my part about not seeing the button macro options with trinity I finally figured out that I am not actually running the latest trinity bars. Apparently even though the .lua files say I am running a 2.0 release I am currently on some 1.0 version. Anyways, is there a way to import my bars from 1.0 to 2.0, I tried saving a template from the old trinity bars and that didn't work.
Forgive me if something like this has been posted, but I couldn't find anything on it.

From my dealings with upgrading there is no way to import bars, basically Trinint2 was a complete rewrite of the original thus basically 2 different bar mods.

Oh well, guess its time to redo my bars for all my toons. I really need the new features of trinity but have been putting it off for this very reason.

Ok so I whiped everything out and installed the new trinity bars and I cant even get it configured. I create new bars set all the button bindings to spell. drag stuff to the bars and they duplicate all over the place. I can't even configure a two bar setup right now. NOt sure what the hell is going on with this thing but I simply want to create 5 bars and drag stuff to them. I am very close to just giving up on trinity. Having used it for years I cannot even figure out the newest version.
Edit: Wow this thing is a pain to configure, slowing getting it figured out. Just hope its worth it in the end. The macro binding is nice already though. NOw if I can just figure out how to copy my templates to my other shaman so I don't have to do it all over again.
Edit 2: Ok at least I can copy my templates to my other dudes.

Phew, all done with my shamans. Not looking forward to my 3 other 70's but the flexibility the new trinity offers is nice.

yeah it is a bit of a new way of thinking about things ;)Tell me about it. It would be nice if you could simply create 5 bars and start dragging things to them, but if you do that you end up with copies of stuff on the different bars because of some odd duplicate action id bindings that happen. I honestly think this part of it is a bug, but once you understand whats going on, you can work around it. Fortuanately after I got the one shaman up I was able to copy the savedvariables file to my other shamans and import the profile.
