horizontal span = dual _monitors_, not video cards. ;) If you're on one monitor, you should be fine with either.
I had believed that plugging in two video cards would increase my FPS also, but the choke point on my 5 boxing PC was windows 32 bit vista not letting me use my full 4 gigs of ram. I plugged in a 2nd video card (in my case 8800 GT) with 0 performance gain. After bumping up my ram to 8 gig (more than likely overkill) when I removed my 2nd video card I did not suffer any performance decreases at all.
Notes:
Settings were minimum on 4 clones and maxed on my primary character. I didn't try to maximize settings on all toons with the 2 video cards in.
I'm still getting a small bit of lag when running 5 toons through a major city, but no big deal.
I still can't fly my epic mounts with crusader aura on, although I'm pretty sure when follow breaks it isn't because of my system framing as much as it is my connection speed.
well i am on 2xLG22" and 1x9600gt doing dual box on each LCD one instance of wow and the FPS is roung 14-29 on each
now the question is how to setup the LCD meaning what is better horizontal something or vertical something...
or to get better performance get another 9600gt???
the internet connection is more than fine soo ....

i bought a 9600gt, thinking that it would be a wise choice . But ive not been getting good fps from it, shatt is unplayable and fps overall isnt too great - with everything turned down to minimum :/
what sorta fps are you getting?

I have a 9600GT 512MB card on my double-client alt box. Both clients run on half the screen and the monitor is running at 1900x1200; both clients sit capped at 60fps constantly, even in shatt. How many clients are you trying to run?

In light of the price drops of last few weeks it makes zero sense to buy anything less then 8800GT. cheapest 8800GT costs $120 (and it comes with dual slot cooler to boot). 8800GT absolutely owns 9600GT in terms of performance.

cheapest 9600GT costs $110:

Next step up is the ATI 4850 at $160.

After that you have the ATI 4870 and NV 260GTX at around $300. Then NV 280GTX at $450, but considering that a pair of 8800GT in SLI (or a pair of 4850 in crossfire) will smoke 280GTX it is not the best value.

Ewww...that looks like a memory leak, driver issue, GDI component issue or maybe a GPU heat issue.

What do you think i should do? i can try reinstall windows - although i can build a computer i dont acctually know how it all works :P so i wouldnt have a clue how to fix a memory leak, or a GDI component issue xD
ill leave the side of the case off to see if that can solve anything xD Could always wait abit and buy one of the new nvidia cards - build a cheap computer and stick this card in there :P
as i begin this topis i will stay with it...
few weeks ago my old 7200 graphic died on me so i use the waranty yesterdey they give me replacement for the 7200 and i get 8500gt i know its not much but its better than nothing... curently i have on my pc 9600gt the question is can i put the 8500gt together with 9600gt to one computer?? will it work?? will i have one desktop on the screen? will i be able to move mouse between them??
