All I'm wanting to do is run one tank and one healer at the same time. I'd like to use the tank as the primary character with the healer as the secondary. I currently do this by alt tabbing between both accounts, but as you can imagine this gets old in a hurry. What I would like to see happen is for me to stay on my primary character and have 3-5 keys that I can press that would cause my secondary charcter to heal my primary. Is this possible?

Most of the stuff I'm reading in here has all 5 characters doing the same thing at the same time, I.E 5 fireballs, 5 heals, etc.

Any tips, tricks or ideas would be appreciated, thanks

Welcome to the Forums !

Now look in the Wiki in the Forums. Will probably answer your questions about healing.

Absolutely, yes. This is how I played my Pally/Mage combo half the time. When I ran my mage as primary character, I just had a few macros from the paladin to aura/bless/heal my mage.
Just use Keyclone or AutoHotKey to broadcast the keypresses to both programs, and use non-main keys (like F1-F6) for your supporting healer.
The few macros I used when I first started dual-boxing about a year ago (this list QUICKLY grew from here to a few dozen macros):
F1: (follow/target macro)
/follow Party1
/target Party1target

F2: (strong heal)
/target Party1
/cast Holy Light

F3: (quick heal)
/target Party1
/cast Flash of Light

F4: (aura up)
/target Party1
/cast Concentration Aura

F5: (blessing up)
/target Party1
/cast Blessing of Wisdom

F6: (for muling items/joining group without having to look at their screen)
/script AcceptTrade();
/script AcceptGroup();

F10: (gotta dance! both characters have F12 bound to this macro)
/dance
