Hey guys! Just wanted to share my latest accomplishment with my team. After a week of grinding I finally got the Wintersaber mount for all my girls. Here's the pic!

GJ - I'm gonna do this with mine when i get them up to 58.

I can remember doing the "grind" before they nerfed the rep (used to be 72 per turn in) took me six months to get mine :cursing: on my paladin (solo not mb)

...Anyone else have a crafty wank whilst watching that?

Congrats! You must have freaked out a lot of folks with all that time spent in Winterspring.

I did the grind on my solo Nelf Huntard post nerf. It took me a 3 day weekend to grind it all out. Way too easy now IMO but I shouldn't complain :) .

Heh - ground one of those for my solo shammy. I didn't think I'd do it again, but seeing your pic does get me tempted .... :D

Congrats!

I know a few old guildies who used to grind for their mounts and it took months. I know they nurffed the rep for this, but how long did it take you?

Congrats! You must have freaked out a lot of folks with all that time spent in Winterspring. Yea I did. There was a NE hunter there doing the same thing and I swear I was beginning to piss her off. I almost whispered her when I was done to tell her that I wouldn't be in Winterspring for a very long time.

It only took me a little under a week doing at least 10 sets of the 2 quests (once I hit honored) a night. Occasionally I did more reps. I give huge snaps to those that did this grind before the rep increase. If I didn't have my techno music to keep me going, I was going to shoot myself. I can't even imagine doing this straight for months. I'm just happy to now be finally out of there. Now I just get funny looks wherever I go (more so than normal).

And thanks to everyone for the gratz's and for everyone wanting to do this, go for it. You get tons of Timbermaw rep (three of my girls hit Revered), tons of Runecloth and even an epic (I got 1). And if you're a miner, tons and tons of Thorium. It helped my pally with her blacksmithing and got my mining to 375. So far I've been lucky and haven't had to buy any materials for my girls' professions. Three of them are over 300 already and I haven't even hit OL yet. G'luck to all who go for it!

when I "ground" mine out, I just set the sfx volume to "none" - and just listened to the background music, quite soothing after a while

I've seriously considered it but having done it on my first pally non boxed mostly prior to the nerf, not sure I can stomach it again but one week would be awesome. I'm really dreading that first quest though. When the expansion came out I was 63 or 64 before I even went to Outlands just grinding this cat and I still didn't have it. I actually didn't get it till 70 because I would go for a week or two, then stop for months. I think once they nerfed it I was already half way through revered and got it pretty quick. Anyhow, grats, I may have to do it after all but it's definately at the bottom of my list.

My warlocks are just ding'ing 58...

I'm considering either doing this, but do the quests give any experience or just rep? I suppose it would be wishful thinking to hope that it also gave experience... I suppose the mobs give kill xp... >.<
