First of all, I've multi-boxed before and support all you everytime I can.

One thing that pisses me off is a pre-made entering a BG just to lose and grab a quick token.
"We're a MAG PREMADE and are here to lose. Don't waste our time"
And when it comes from a multiboxer it will only grief people more and I don't think this is any good for the multiboxing community.

Second time in a row I join an AB with the thunders of Mag. Please stop it.

me and another boxer wanted to do this for wsg's and eots... and we sat in a 2min q for 25 mins... i don't know how people do it

Tsk, tsk, tsk.

Don't make Vyndree spank you afk'ers.

@Drope -- Non-participation in BG's is a actionable offense. Particularly when repeated. I know some cases where gear has been stripped and/or accounts have been banned. Feel free to open a GM ticket regarding any experience, multiboxer or otherwise, with "losing premades" or just plain afk'ers. Be sure to mention the approximate times of each incident as it can help speed up the investigation.

I apologize on behalf of the rest of the multiboxing community for their behavior. Sadly, multiboxing itself isn't a personality trait and, like everyone else, there can happen to be a few bad apples. Since you've multiboxed before I hope you understand, and that this doesn't ruin your perception of the rest of the community. :)

It's a 25+ minute queue when you join as a large group. ;) If you only join as 5 or less it tends to be quite shorter queue times.

Just my experience.

Just report him, they will lose all their marks and honor.

if hes not AFK and is just not playing.. hes fine..

And reporting doesnt' do anything, i have reported the same guy for 2 months.. he uses *****, has told me he uses it.. and he has even spammed general chat with attack commands when it messes up....

This sucks, I don't know about the rest of you but I get mega grief same-side faction for just showing up with 5 in anything but AV and this kind of bull**** is just making it worse. Fight to win otherwise you're just helping the other side gear up faster.

Ice...recently there was a guy near the battlemasters that would spam regular chat with "we232222332222we" or whatever it was every time he came out of a match. He was also in later AV's and was cave AFK and would be marked afk every match I was in and now I don't see him anymore so keep reporting him.

You can report non-participation--whether they're at the keyboard or not--by using the Report AFK feature. There's no distinction on our end. Non-participation is non-participation. :)

Q u o t e:
So if I am killing harpies in AV to level my lowbie pet am I going to get my account suspended?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At least to me, there appear to be a number of more efficient ways to level one's pet than being in a PVP Battleground.

Regardless, non-participation is just that, Chakta. Be in there to fight or to complete objectives, or both. If you're simply "leveling your pet", then you're putting your team at a strategic disadvantage.

Q u o t e:

See, I am not trying to be a pest, but then why put them there? Blizzard removed all other NPCs from the battleground in a prior patch but left the Harpies and Kobolds in their respective caves. If you start banning people for killing them, why not just remove them as well?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Never said we were suspending people for killing harpies or kobolds. Only that were suspending people for intentionally not participating in the battle for an extended period of time.

Remember that your efforts are not in vain. Blizzard likes to banwave people in mass amounts -- typically after an arena season. ;) Continue to report the person for non-participation as it IS actionable. Even if he goes back into combat to remove the debuff then just afk's again, it IS against the rules.

You cannot decide not to participate in PvP. You will get what's coming to you -- even if it takes a while for Blizz to investigate and take action. The longer it takes for you to get banned, the more gear they're going to strip away from you. If you afk'ed in BG's for one piece of gear, and then got 2 more pieces later -- Blizz typically takes away all 3 pieces (because the first piece helped get you the remaining 2 pieces afterwards). It hurts all the more to have a nekkid character in the end.

1st post and probably the last (not quiting just don't have much to say:)

Yep it was me, i joined 3 (i believe) premade loser ab's in a moment of laziness. I had been grinding bgs all morning and really wanted that chest piece(no excuse). I am sorry to the WOW players that got caught in those bgs. I also apologize to the Multi-Boxing community and The Zerg which go hand in hand. I will gquit just to save the Zergs reputation and hope all the best for them. I have made mistakes before and surely will again. No hard feelings I hope but I think I will venture on my own.

I can't help but commend you for your mature behaviour, especially in the given context.

Xar, people were bitching bout me at the start of eots last night (needed 20 marks for my gavel), by the end of 2 matches they were thanking me for winning it in chat:) my eots strat is to start out going to DR.. defend their first rush there, wait til the bar is full.. then cross the bridge to MT and take it... then through the match i hit whatever tower looks not defended well..specially if they hammer one of ours, i goto theirs tahts furthest from it:) and we won 2000-600 once like that.. and 2000-1920 once.. that one was scary.. allies ran the flag nonstop even with 1 tower it added up

People make mistakes and mature people admit it and understand the mistake. Personally, I don't see any reason to quit your guild. I would talk to them and see what they think. Just my thoughts!

QFT, mistakes are made by everyone.

I'm not saying that there aren't consequences to actions -- as you can see you were probably reported for your behavior and you deserved to be reported for that behavior. There is no excuse. But at the same time it's not our job to dish out any retribution either -- it's Blizzard's. There may still be consequences for your actions, regardless of how apologetic you may feel, and you should be prepared to meet them.

Have a good long talk with your guild leader just like you've posted to the rest of us multiboxers and see what can be done. If you're honestly sorry, I don't see why you can't be forgiven.

The 3 premades I've been in were all winners with only 1 being somewhat close on score. The problem with our battlegroup on Alliance is many are big whiners and they never look to themselves as to why they are losing, many times the loudest whiners are the ones who have low HK and low damage. There was one whiner though who was up there on the charts.

@ thunders, I'm glad to see you own up to this and I'm not upset anymore but please remember you are representing mutliboxers in general when you play. ;)
