Yeah, just log into the game on your 70 and use the following command

/script multiclone("<insert class here", <number of clones here>)

This will then create however many clones you request of the appropriate class.

You forgot to mention the gear clone parameter:
/script multiclone ("<insert class here", <number of clones here>,<"EpicSetn/PvPSn"> )

where n is the number of the set, of course for the PvP then n is the number of the season, though why anyone wouldn't take the latest is beyond me.

Also under development and soon to be released is :

/ArenaRating ("<insert team name">,<team rating>,<"WoWCaptainAccount">,<"WoWPassword"> )
The GMs had to put the account/password in as well so that you can't alter other teams ratings, coz that would be cheating :)

/TradeSkill ("<insert profession>",<level> )
a nice feature of this is that it overriddes the max number of professions and instantly learns all BoE and BoP recipes Woo Hoo!, awesome.

Just remember that parameters without "" are integers

Did you get into the game and try the script command I gave you, or the variations posted?....been a while since I have had to do it so they may be more up to date than I am.

If so, what happened and if not, why would others offer more help when you haven't tried what has already been provided?

If you're confused where to put the command, you just need to type it into either a macro (and run that) or enter it into the chatbox like you would an addon command line set...it's the same thing really, just /script tells wow to use an inbuilt command rather than something like /cast lightning bolt

knytestorme is right, did you try the commands? they're pretty straightforward, although the syntax DOES change from time to time. I remember when 2.4 came out and it took me ages to setup a new PvE shammy team because the damn script now only accepted class name in uppercase. That's the problem with undocumented GM software, it's subject to rapid change as they see fit.

Also remember that the GMs are always willing to help with these scripts as they wrote them in the first place. Just remember to get a GM whose been around for awhile, some of the newbs are a bit lame.

I'd suggest asking a GM about it, or post on the bugs forum on the official forums about it, they might be able to shed more light on if it's broken or not :(

Everyone has to level their characters from 1-70 the good old fashioned way and if OP had read anything (including the part on the forum list that says "Not for support") he wouldn't have posted this thread in the general forum and would have got correct answers a lot more quickly (and yep, am covering my butt now since this got moved here and it might seem it was always here :D)

I wish I would have gotten up earlier this morning, and read this (well, middle of the night, since I'm from europe) - I would definately have added that the new alchemy flask from 2.4.2 allows you to clone your char up to 4 times, and it lasts for 2 hours, persists through death ofc. This is an alternative to the scripting, that the GM's might close down at some point...

I actually use that ingame, when I get asked how I cloned them :) if people outright accepts that explanation, I usually provide them with a little more info shortly after - it is only fun to yank someones chain for so long ;)

In any case, this made me laugh out loud here at work, and as such, my colleagues look worried since most of them are clueless as to what it means if I try to explain this thread. So I gave up - but still laughing inside :D

As Furs said, you have to level them all as you would a single character. There is no cloning, your playing multiple characters at the same time.

Well you could always take one 70 you have and transfer it to 5 different servers before the transfers go through then you have the same char 5 times. Then you just have to wait 3 months and transfer them all back to your desired server.

i noticed not one person has thought about the Test Realm servers....toon cloning is legit, but only this way...blizzard will clone any toon you wish from your own account to the test realm, however, this would really be pointless, but legit and legal....now...start up multiple accounts, lvl your toons up, then get blizzard to copy each toon from each account from the real playable servers to the test realms and you'll have effectively duplicated your toons.

Didn't you guys just use the Blizzard character transfer service and pick the same realm you were already on? Worked for me.... too bad it costs $25. The only unfortunate part is I showed up as a gnome that smell's like cabbage.
