Well, I have a problem and figured I'd ask here for suggestions. Currently have 1 account with 4 70's on it (including one member of my multi-team) and 4 accounts with 1 70 each (being the other members of my team). I'm thinking of swapping 1 character off my initial account but not sure which, or to which other account.
Account 1: Mage (Multi-Member), Warlock, Holy Paladin (t4/5 geared with prot and holy gear), Rogue (no point moving her off)
Account 2: Shaman
Account 3: Prot Paladin
Account 4: Mage
Account 5: Holy Priest
I'm trying to decide whether to move the warlock or paladin off account 1, and if so onto which account. The only off-limit combo is warlock onto account 5 as they are my chanters and I want to be able to cover any character on any account for chants.
I'm kinda thinking about moving either of them onto account 4 for one of the following reasons:
1. If I move paladin on, I can drop mage, add paladin and respec priest to shadow and drop mage 1 to add warlock to the team as well for runs where humanoid cc is not important
2. Move walock to account 4...essentially same as above, or I can keep priest holy and run with lock, pal, shaman, mage, priest if I want.
Looking at a way to be a little more flexible with my team and get badges and gear for lock, or extra badges for paladin with the least overall impact on team effectiveness (hence not looking at the impact of putting one on shaman account)
Open to any and all suggestions except lock -> account 5 so let's hear them please :D

ooooh - my brain hurts.
I would move the warlock to account 4. You have two mages (are they both 70's?). I figure the mage and warlock are the most likely to be interchangable, and still leaves you the option of using the priest to heal instead of the paladin if you needed a group with a lock and a mage.

hehehe, welcome to how my brain feels :D
And yes, the mages are both 70...my multiteam is prot pal, holy priest, shaman, 2 mages
I think you're right, has been the way I've been leaning as well for it but still not totally sure.

yes but he can already do mage/warlock, so that doesn't seem like that great of an idea.
my suggestion would be put the paly thats on your main account on the one with the other mage so u can swap both pally/mage's to spread the badges evenly between the 2 mages and 2 pallys. do mage 1 pally 1 on one run, then the next run do mage 2 pally 2. if thats a concern at all of yours. if not then i wouldn't bother transfering any char. not much point in moving the lock as it gives u the same option you currently have of mage/lock/shaman/priest/pally, unless you move him to priests account which wouldn't be a bad idea. have your group be this:
Prot pally, mage mage warlock Resto shaman.
not a bad option as you'll get the +spell damage/healing totem still, just no totem of wrath, but also gain Imp blood pact, soulstone, and dots. ;)

Are those the only toons you have? You might think of rolling some other "alts" to give yourself some more options. You could roll 4x of anything and boost them with the pally. Or, you could just move the holy pally to the priest account, and have a "healer" account and swap out accordingly. My plan is to have a healer acct, tank acct, and 3 dps accounts. I plan on having some failover though, for a 4x dps 1 healer setup for PvP.

I think a lot of people address this sort of problem by getting a 6th account. Moving the mage from account 1 to account 6 would give you the flexibility to swap out any of your other 70s for any member of your default lineup.

a riddle, if you will...??
I'd like to suggest that you move your lock to acct 5! :D
OK, I'm sorry, I really don't have any useful advice since my head is spinning trying to figure out how you'd multibox all those classes. So, I just thought I'd drop by to see if anybody else knows my movie quote and share a little (lame) humor.

My set up im leveling is mageX2, lock, Druid(tank), Priest. which would be the same as you moving that lock to account 2.
Go destro on the lock and with the new patch everyone is happy with the new curse of elements! Locks are lot of dmg 8)
The shammy is a good team player too though :S I'd keep the priest but that falls back on personal preference. I would not switch out a mage for a lock however. Also keep your tank if you want to do instances for gear and whatnot.
Thats my 3 cents. Good luck with your decision!
P.s - If played right, the locks and mages would have KILLER finishers that go hand in hand with one another. I suggest fire spec the mages and possibly the lock 0/21/40 for some fun fire nuking, shadow destro still pumps out a lot of damage as well, but with scortches stacked high and curse of elements and sacraficing your imp- Your talking +30% to 40% more dmg, on-top of an already hard hitting class.
My other 2 cents. Adding up to 5! :X Going to have to break a dime here soon!

Umm...
don't move anything.
Play account 3 directly (prot pally)
Use teh Shaman as healer (resto).
go go go!Then you leave the holy priest lonely D:

Umm...
don't move anything.
Play account 3 directly (prot pally)
Healers: Holy Priest on 5, Resto Shaman on 2, or Holy Pally on 1, your choice.
go go go!
Or respec the Pally on account 3 holy, and the priest on account 5 Shadow or Disc and roll that way.
If it was me? Use Prot Pally on account 1, then roll three new Shaman on 3 - 5. :D
Yeah, currently account 3 is my tanking account (when I get round to leveling a druid group, the feral will be on this account)...am also boosting 3 more shaman on accounts 1, 4 and 5 atm with a hunter on account 2 :D
I semi-agree that moving none is a decent option but I'm thinking that if I move one of them, once I have the mage on account 1 kitted out I can replace her in the group and start badging out either the warlock or the pally. Then I thought, well if I do that AND move the other to one of the other accounts I can start badging up the both of them at the same time (rather than kit the first out then have to go round again for the next) so how do I best do that without gimping out the group and then not being able to do the heroics.
I guess if I move the paladin to the priest account, I can have a healer account to go with the tanking account but I don't think I ever want to be doing an instance without fort and ds available to me :)
I think moving lock to account 4 will be best solution. I won't be swapping in the lock or pal till after mages are geared up for how I want them at WotLK release anyway, so priest, pal, shaman will all overgear most instances by the time I drop the mages out and won't be as reliant on their CC as I currently am.
