Possible fun with Deathknights

So i was thinking for all you 5 boxers this may be a riot

most of you already have 70s on all your accounts and will be able to get deathknight x 5

so for the heck of it, not that a 5x deathknight team may be viable but this may be fun

-make your deathknights up and get them to 59

- roll into battle grounds

-summon ghouls x 10000

-cast that move that brings your enemys towards you

- watch as the yell WTF as they get eaten by a sworm of ghouls

I'm working to get my horde team to 70 so I can roll one to be a tank if I need one since I despise blood elfs so much and refuse to roll one.

Hadn't really considered x5, but sounds like fun to me!

I'm so tempted to get my 5th account now and xfer an alt 70 so that's its DK ready.
I'm unsure if I would give up my main paladin tank though.

Well they are making this class as a "tank" in mind. They even said that this class will be able to tank, but i think it is going to be really hard to do with no shield. Maybe they will have DK only weapons which each one gives parry or block value.

I'm pretty sure that Bliz has stated you only need a lvl 55 character to create a DK.Oh great! That's easy! Thanks

As soon as I get my 5x WotLK CD Keys I'll be rolling 5x Deathknights and movign to the nearest city to /dance on mailboxes like its going out of style! :P

I might actually try boxing them, but as it will be learning a new class AND learning a new multiboxing setup... it might be sensory overload. lolI'm telling ya, make your followers Taruen and your main DK anything else and you'll save yourself alot of headache with your first melee team.

I don't play Horde.

I could go Draenei though.Wouldn't make a difference. Tauren have a 9yd melee range, everything else including male draenei have a 5 yd melee range.

I've been reading up a little on death-knights.

From what I can gather, Warriors will still be MTs most of the time. They seem to be getting an AoE damage ability so should make em more viable for boxing too :)
Paladins will always be AoE kings methinks :) just won't go any other way tbh
Druids are likely to remain very high AC and avoidance so great for most bosses (also generally high threat as OT)

Death-knights are as stated high dps(probably high tps for that reason), somewhat self healing, avoidance tanks, and seem likely to have a lot more spell absorption etc talents/abilities and this will set them apart. As a tank, although fully capable of tanking melee bosses and group pve, they will reign supreme vs caster mobs/bosses. Looks like resistance gear won't be an issue for them.. which makes me wonder how they will fair in PvP

I just read the WotLK FAQ, and that's correct.

Wow. That's been really dumbed down.

Last time I read anything about it, the plan was that tou need to get to level EIGHTY with at least one character, then embark upon a quest "similar in difficulty to the Warlock epic mount quest", which will then let you create a Death Knight character who starts at level 55.

Thought it was the pally epic mount quest. It is a more of a pain.
