I have a macro on each to do a chain heal on themselves but I usually only do this out of a fight.
/cast [target=player] chain heal
this really isn't that great during a big fight because they are all healing and nobody is doing dmg
I would suggest the splitting of the team into full dps and a part time healer.
I do this with say button 2 is full dps where the whole team does dps and button 3 is 2x dps and 1x heals ( I have a 5x team so I adjust the heals as need 4/1 or 3/2 etc )
I use the focus method of control where alts have my main as thier focus
button2:
main: /cast lightning bolt
alt1: /cast [target=focus-target,harm] lightning bolt
alt2: /cast [target=focus-target,harm] lightning bolt
button3:
main: /cast lightning bolt
alt1: /cast [target=focus-target,harm] lightning bolt
alt2: /cast [target=focus-target-target,noharm,exits] healing wave;[target=player] chain heal
then I spam between button 2 until someone needs heals then I spam button 3 and switch back and forth

bind these same three buttons on all characters:
1st:
/cast [target=MrA,help, nodead] Healing Wave (Healing wave can be replaced with, Lesser Healing Wave or Chain Heal)
2nd
/cast [target=MrB,help, nodead] Healing Wave (Healing wave can be replaced with, Lesser Healing Wave or Chain Heal)
3rd
/cast [target=MrC,help, nodead] Healing Wave (Healing wave can be replaced with, Lesser Healing Wave or Chain Heal)
where MrA, MrB and MrC should be replaced with your characters exact names
alternatively if you want to heal the target of the mob you are killing you can use
/cast [target=targettarget, help, nodead] Healing Wave (Healing wave can be replaced with, Lesser Healing Wave or Chain Heal) on your main
/cast [target=MrAtargettarget, help, nodead] Healing Wave (Healing wave can be replaced with, Lesser Healing Wave or Chain Heal) on your clones

I let the mobs decide who gets healed. Whoever has aggro gets healed. It works for me and I never have to change macros for names. I never have to target people to heal. I never have to change names if I play different alts.
#showtooltip
/cast [target=focus-target, help] HealSpell
/cast [target=focus-target-target] HealSpell
/cast [target=player] HealSpell

I love him. i copied him so i got to use him before i copy something else and lose him... lol. I just think that the post here today are just really bad. That or that i read the posts almost all the time and see the same thing over. Question was "someone quickly explain how to heal", and the quickest way for a sham team is to use healing wave.... ops i messed up it is lesser healing wave (quicker cast time).
Oh no am i turning into Fur
