Hi all,

So finally decided to make a team, 4x shaman. Y'day ive hit lvl 12, decided to go to oggrimar. A level 70 druid walks into me, starts saying, you are so pathetic, no one likes multiboxers.

All i could thinks of is giving a reply, LOL, 4 times he got it.

Levelling goes well btw, still i have to figure out how i can only reply with my main, instead of all my alts

Levelling goes well btw, still i have to figure out how i can only reply with my main, instead of all my altsIt just shows you what his mental state is, it also shows you about how old/young he is.

The attempt at making you feel bad by saying "NO ONE likes Multiboxers" is just HIM saying HE doesn't like Multiboxers, AND he's using the 3rd Grade School version of
"I'll tell this guy that EVERYBODY hates him and he'll cry"

Just go to the official forums and see the support for Multiboxers there, if "No ONE liked Multiboxers" then all of the Multiboxer threads would be full of Multiboxer HATERS, rather than
ONE Multiboxer Hater, using 5 of his ALTS to agree with himself, another point......if NO ONE likes Multiboxers, then WHY does BLIZZ say it's OK?
If what that retard said was true, would'nt Multiboxing not only be IMPOSSIBLE in WOW, but instantly BANNABLE?

Just like a 9 year old kid would do if they didn't like something.

The 9 year old knows they have no argument or proof against what they don't like, so instead they resort to "Everybody doesn't like it" in hopes that YOU will feel so stupid and BELIEVE them,
that you will stop doing the thing that bothers them.

Seriously the whole "No ONE likes....." originates around 2nd to 4th grade school

Blow him off, he's probably around 12-20 years old, and still has to rely on arguments that used to work for him when he was in grade school.

Some guy in full arena pvp epics and stuff came up to me in orgrimmar and openly said "No life"

I think everyone in the vacinity got the irony..

People do seems to go out there way to come over and have a go.. to such an extent i've made a macro, something like "witness my reason to avoid grouping with ignorant xxxxxxx like you"

If it gets me a warning from a GM, then so be it - but i'll use it until then.

dinnie, just wait, and hang out in ogr at night so people see you... i still get the occasional asshole.. well daily.. BUT last night i was arguing with 2 in ogr, and like5 people jumped in saying i rule and the guys were idiots:)

Plus i LOVE to fight.. so when you can type fast and start asking them why i have no life when we play the same game.. for the same ammount of time... how do i have less life? they usually can't answer..

in shat i got a "what a fuckin loser" And i responded, wow.. you are a loser, you can only play 1 toon at a time? Can't you find a job? stuff like that and it gets people laughing:)

But the more that people on the server know you the easier it will get

I too have had my share of asses trying to ruin my time .but I'd say it's 70/30 good/bad

usually after talking to the guy for a few minutes they come around.they start asking the good questions .like whats the set up? where can I learn more? Which I am glad to provide.

Have to say, ive met some nice ppl too tho,the majority, one guy offered me some boosts in RFC and gave me 10G to buy some equipment, he was very intrested in my setup, what programs i was using etc. etc. But than again there always be tards ;). And for myself, i really like multiboxing, i have levelled 7 toons to 70 all solo, and actually was getting bored with the game, but this really opens up a whole new world of wow for me. Thanks all

There are a few that are a pain in the ass, but here's the people that love boxers so much that they're willing to give us free gold, even at level 1:
People trying to start a guild!

First thing I did when I rolled my 5xShaman on Magtheridon, at level 1, was to: /1 5 guild charter signings available for 10g. Boom. 2 people came running.. signed all alts on 1, guild was formed. Dropped guild and signed the other guy's. Easiest 20g I've ever made at level 1. :) Looking back, I should have asked for 20g a 5x signing..

One of the advantages of being on an RP server is I get to be really creative with my responces.

Had a dwarf pally come up to my 4-box lock team and say:

Him: I know what you're doing. You suck.
Main character: You have no idea what we're doing, dwarf.
Slave 1: We delve in powers far beyond your comprehension, Paladin.
Him: wtf?!?
Main character: wtf, indeed. Your dwarvish tongue is not worth the effort to master.
Slave 2: Indeed.
Slave 3 chuckles.
Slave 4: We must leave. There is no more time for this.
Main character: Good day, dwarf. Try not to let the evils of this world overwhelm you.

And then the dwarf wished me a good day. It was absolutely hilarious. There's something great about typing fast and switching screens quickley. I have some of the best conversations with myself, hahaha.

I don't know what you're talking about, I've always preferred boxers. :)

Entertainment macros are the best! Having conversations between your guys is hilarious to watch and people get a kick out of watching it.

It's my idea to have an entire script and show (like 30 seconds long of course) where my characters are in formation and start talking to each other, turning to each other, pointing, etc. I know I can do it, that's not the problem... the problem is finding hours of free time to do it lol!

hehe, i get that a lot, from people with much better gear than me. I really don't think they get the irony (the people who are calling me no-life). I guess they don't realize that i can level up all my guys simultaneously....

i find it really funny though. I probably put in less WoW time than most people, and yet get called no-life, something that i never got back when i had "no life" i.e was in a raiding guild doing BWL/AQ.

I had a similar incident Sunday, my first hater so to speak. I've gotten a lot of lol's but never an actual hater.

him: /spit
him don't cheat because it ruins the game for everyone else.

All I could do was lol x5 and move on my way.

lol, I get a lot of people who whine about how much I pay, and how it's too much to pay and blah blah blah... I just tell them I don't own a PS3 or a 360, and I don't spend 59.99 on new console games once or twice a month... even with 5 accounts WoW is saving me money!

Not many people who call it cheating though. Most people who call it cheating are stymied when you tell them that it's not any more cheating than twinks are.

I love the haters. It gives me fuel. The other night I was sick and tired of boosting my warlock (64) with my tankadin (70) holy priest (70) and fire mage (70). I was sick of it. My poor little shammy is only level 50 and I was about to hang it up. Someone capped off something and I got my ass back into Slave Pens. Got at sweet BoE blue for my shaman off of trash too ^^

If people in cities say stuff I have all five toons spam my "All your base, are belong to us. You have no chance to survive, make your time." macro. I get a few lol's usually. Just remember that no one ever does anything worthwhile without struggling and being criticized. You will enjoy the fruits at 70 when they are all LFG any heroic! Need tank and heals! :)

well only been boxing a day and i already get this :D allot of people actually seemed new to wow when i started my shaman team (schools down and all in most european countries) but today i had a lv 70 orc rogue calling me a sad guy who prolly lives in his mothers basement cause he's so ugly, was rather fun when i told him im a girl irl and he went complete 360 :D
also had some people doing /sigh emote's and saying i had no live and such but overall i just find it fun, I know when im 70 I can solo while they struggle to get groups

Some kid told me last night "Multi boxing is for mager nerds. It's only cool if you do it with shaman anyway"

"mager"

not to mention the irony of someone in an mmo calling you a nerd

People are always going to hate because:

1. They don't understand it
2. They can't afford it
3. You're doing something interesting and they're not, because they can't

I think I'm going to write a couple of macros to spit out the Outer Limits intro theme....

There is nothing wrong with your television set. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling transmission. If we wish to make it louder, we will bring up the volume. If we wish to make it softer, we will tune it to a whisper. We will control the horizontal. We will control the vertical. We can roll the image, make it flutter. We can change the focus to a soft blur or sharpen it to crystal clarity. For the next hour, sit quietly and we will control all that you see and hear. We repeat, there is nothing wrong with your television set. You are about to participate in a great adventure. You are about to experience the awe and mystery which reaches from the inner mind to... The Outer Limits. — Opening narration – The Control Voice – 1960sI did what ur thinking of doing with a program for Ultima Online. I did an entire poem from Lord of the Rings. First time I did it, I was given 10k. Would be nice if somebody could make an addon where you insert text. Geezus, I am thinking we could even have a Barbershop sing along.

After thought...Yesterday I had probably 3 ppl who told me "The Zerg" are awesome. Personally telling me they love what I am doing. And, the occasional...your going to be banned. One guy wanted to follow me around and watch me kill stuff. Another was giving me advice on improving my gear so I can PVP the alliance better.

To the OP..I make /wave.../lol.../dance.../train....and one where I kneel and point then laugh on my main...with my group laughing behind me.. 8) Just put the macros on your bars and they will all do it. I am sure you could even make a response macro by using one of the AddOns that allows more ActionBars and then binding the keys accordingly.

Strangely enough, I haven't had a bad comment yet although I expect one every time I see another player, I'm actually kind of getting disappointed now, even though I am the kind of person who hates that kind of stuff anyway. I should mention that any comments I've had were all good...

Mid levels were full of haters for me. Now that I'm moving into areas where 70's are helping friends out, I get ../forum/images/smilies/love.png from the 70's and they put the lowbies in place.
