This is a great setup for two boxing with two computers. Keyclone 1.8k, KavoomKM and TowBoxToolkit (uses ACE2 library).

TwoBoxToolkit makes it easy to share quests and handle loot with your bot. It also does some nice things with relaying whispers, buff warnings, and low life/mana warnings. KavoomKM is simply the best way to share one keyboard and mouse with two systems. And Keyclone 1.8k works now that the disconnect bug is fixed :)

When you say "Bot" do you mean "Toon"

But i dont know what "TwoBoxToolkit" is, probably a addon of some sort i guess,
but Keyclone is a musthave when u box, because of the keyboard cloning and because of
maximizer so u can see all screens at the same time. (i use 2 computers and 3 screens)

But why not use synergy when using 2 computers, its fairly easy to setup and its freeware.

good luck :D

Yep, its a UI mod.

KavoomKM is much better than Synergy IMO. Nothing against free software mind you.

I am really happy with Keyclone. 1.8k is a big improvement over 1.8j.

@ Jezperr - I run the same setup as Eqjoe. Tried Synergy and found camera spin on the second PC too frustrating. KaVoom makes the transition between boxes seamless and eliminates needing to use scroll lock to avoid the death spin. It delivers on the promise of creating the feel and function of a single desktop. I'm all for freeware, but KaVoom's cost is both insignificant relative to the price of our setups and worthwhile in terms of the convenience it provides. A great compliment to the outstanding Keyclone.

Why was the sticky on Kavoom removed? I just got a 2nd PC and I was wanting to install Synergy but then when I came to this forum I found another option mentioned but there isn't a lot of info on Kavoom. I did a search but just came up with this thread.

Is it a legitimate alternative to Synergy?

I use Kavoom KM, Keyclone, and Twobox as well. Kavoom practically sets itself up for you, all you really need to do is drag and drop which computers screen goes where, and type in the name of the other computer that you are using, during the setup. It will even install itself on the other computer.

The only issue I've had with Kavoom and Keyclone is that if i minimize Keyclone from anything other than the toolbar, my mouse will get stuck on the monitor I minimized Keyclone on. I've just learned to minimize it from the toolbar and I don't have to worry about that issue. Everything else works fine. Kavoom is $40 dollars for the first two computers, and $20 dollars for each additional computer. The link to Kavoom is in the sticky.

I guess one of the moderators accidently deleted some stickys.

I'm a huge fan of keyclone and kavoom also, but my only issue with using the pair is that when i'm controling the 2nd computer and hit the 'pause' key it'll unsync the 'pauses' between computers. It's truely a PITA because when i'm on the 2nd computer and need to 'pause' the key passes with keyclone i have to move my mouse to the first pc and and activate a wow window (just by clicking on it) then hit the pause from Machine 1. I've gotten used to doing it now, but I wish I could figure out how to prevent that from happening.

The hardest part is networking your computers.

Btw- I had no idea keyclone 'j' had a disconnect bug. I had always assumed it was my offices firewall/security settings or simply my office machine chocking to death by running 3 or 4 copies on wow on 2 gigs of ram. I never knew I was still running keyclone 'j' on that machine until recently. Actually it's kind of amusing because I went out and bought a whole new desktop PC to 10 box at home because when I ran my first trial at the office keyclone kept disconnecting and I blamed it on everything else. haha.

I was excited to see:

o bug: disconnect bug between keyclones

In the "k" release notes as I use two system to bot.

Have this issue now as well. I also get double kestrokes when typing in chat... sometimes. None of this happens often, and it's easy to work around.
