When I ran both wow clients on the same monitor the focus followed the mouse now with each wow on it's own monitor the focus follows mouse no longer works. I turned the focus setting in the control panel and that works but there is a delay. I'm using Vista home 32. Is there a way to get the focus follows mouse in Keyclone to work?

g'evening BGuru,

i am a bit confused about your question.

first, please insure you are using v1.8k
next, go to keyclone/setup/general and CHECK 'focus follows mouse'
then hit ok

that's pretty much it. there is a slight delay when you cross boundaries between windows, as focus is being forced from one app to another.

let me know if that's not what you meant,

Rob

Sorry if I wasn't clear.
The focus follows mouse in Keyclone quit working when I added a second monitor. I have v1.8k and use maximizer to move the wow windows to their proper monitor. Focus follows mouse works fine if I have both wows on the same monitor but it stops working if each wow is on a separate monitor.

I turned on the accessibility option in Vista to get the focus to follow the mouse but Vistas option has a slight delay and I would like to use the focus follows mouse in Keyclone again.

Thanks,

very odd. i run with 2 monitors and don't have any issues with focus-follows-mouse.

what type of video card do you have? which vista are you running?

did you run keyclone as admin (on the shortcut... you must right-click/properties/advanced/run-as admin)

i think the above item might be your issue. let me know if that nailed it.

talk to you soon,

Rob

I set the shortcut to run as admin but the problem is still there.
I run Vista home premium 32 and a Nvidia 8800 GT.

After further testing here is what I found. The focus follows mouse works if the monitors are set with monitor 2 to the right of monitor 1, it also works if monitor 2 is set to be below monitor 1. The focus follows mouse doesn't work if the monitors are configured with monitor 2 above monitor 1 or monitor 2 is set to be to the left of monitor 1.

Thanks for your help.

?(

ok... i hadn't played with moving the displays into different positions. (display 1 was always the left monitor for me)

i'll put that on the list and see if i can remove the limitation.

thanks for the heads up,

Rob
