So I don't even have a level 70 crew, or even 30 at that, and I find myself sitting here contemplating my next crew. Going to give PVE a shot this time since it might be easier for me to stick with, who knows!
My 5 shaman are level 29 now and its dragging Way bad, its pritty much unbearable for me! So I'm considering starting over to see if there's a difference in play style that I like.
While thinking about how I can cut back on set-up time, I thought of the "alt" post from earlier this month, and how I have fallen victim of this terrible feeling! :S
So here we go Warrior, Two Mages, a Priest, and "Other"
Anyone got a good "cure" other than feeding it?
I recently also made premades on the PTR, all shaman of course, and have been pvp'ing up a storm (pun! ) and almost exploded a blood vessle, more than once... a lot more. There were a few enjoyable moments and good highlights but I can see this getting boring. Anything think It'd be a good idea to turn back?
Sorry for the long confusing read, Debating with myself while typing and lost track of what I put down :X
The more different classes you have, the more time you will have to spend writing macros. But, if you try another team and don't like it, you won't have to start over with your shaman. They'll even be rested! So go for it. :)

Keep in mind, mounts available at level 30 next patch.... could be as early as July 01.... that should help speed things up a bit. Also, at lvl 30 I THINK you get your water totem? that means Healing Totems... makes Instances go pretty quick.
EDIT: OH YEAH... AND Astral Recall which gives you a hearth every 15min and Grounding Totem which redirects harmful spells.... 30 is big for Shamans!
On one server I have 3 70 shamans, 3somes of druids, priests, mages, and locks all under level 20, and solo Warrior and Paladin. On other servers I have 3 level 70 locks, a level 70 warrior, a level 60 mage, a level 59 hunter, and level 40ish priest. It's nice to experiment around and see what you like. Just keep in mind that it does take more effort for a boxer to roll alts than it does for a soloer. I have a set of "starting settings and macros" that I have saved from the WTF folder and I just copy and paste that into all new accounts I start.

Call me crazy but I have:
Shaman x 5 group @ 70
Priest & Lock x 4 group @ 70
Hunter x 5 group @ 33
Paly & Mage x 4 group @ 30
Yes, confirmed altaholic here...
Cheers,

I'm such an altaholic, I made a spreadsheet to keep track of em all. I have em all sorted by the team, server, account, class and level. I have a total of over 40 characters (most are below 10 though, Above 10 I have 20 chars. I keep theorycrafting my way into oblivion. I've run out of spots on 2 accounts (but that is with some lvl 1 "hogger raid" alts I made which are expendable (5x mages Pwned him at lvl 4) I am Alliance currently, but since I'm out of spots, I'm probably gonna roll my 5x shaman (yes, I haven't made one yet, sue me lol) on horde side. Gonna be tough without the free gold I usually give my new chars so I don't have to bother with looting for a while.

I don't think you can be a multiboxer and not be a sucker for alts, however I would recommend that you make a team and stick with it till they are level 70, if you think MBing if fun to level just wait till you are 70 then the real fun stuff starts!

Nothing wrong with being an altaholic. Multiple multiboxing groups = more rest xp generated while you're working on another group. :)

Yup this is what i did. Sham team was taking forever to lvl. So i created a new team. I played them for a little bit and then transfered over 1 sham to a different account (that sham is on the same account as the power lvling rogue). Then got them to 40, by that time team 2 had full rest. Lvled them until rest was over then went back to sham. So what i am doing now is going to lvl sham team till 50 (bring in team 2 when rest is full) then switch to team 2 and have team 1 rest... continue until lvl 55 then just focus on sham team.
Also, at lvl 30 I THINK you get your water totem? Water totem is lvl 20 after a long quest. Lvl 30 is air totem.
