Arena makes me sad inside.....

So.. did my 10 areans last night.. lost 10.. killed 1 guy in all 10 matches:)

Heres the best part.. i respeced to aelli's spec right before i went in.. for some reason my main guy's EM+CL macro stayed on his hotbar...
on ALL 4 of the alts... it left... i went through 9 matches going.. wtf.. my chain lightning seems weak... last match i fixed it and killed a guy:)

I forgot how much RES matters.. im getting mowed down in seconds.. can't wait for 400+

Remember too that the ratings reset so aren't full S3 and partial S4 groups sitting in the 1500 bracket now too? I thought this was how it was so was waiting a couple weeks myself for them to filter on up and out of the bracket which hopefully happens.

One thing I don't want to see is those douches in S3 rolling the 1500 bracket.

I still get mowed down every week. I think my best week was 2 and 8, managed to pull that off a couple times. My gear improved quite a bit this week so maybe I can do a little better. I still need a dedicated healer to be serious about it though.

Yeah, a healer won't help me much.. the most he would be able to do is go "holy shit! WTF!" hahahah but yeah everyone is geared and i don't have 1 purple:) it will come..

And dno't wait to start playing.. you are giving up 300 pionts a week even losing if you don't play..

It is rough when you first start out, but that's the best part - the journey, you can FEEL your power grow as you get the gear and practice. It is sort of leveling all over again.

yeah, i went through the same thing on my resto druid months ago... starts out dying non stop.. then you have 450 res and its like hmm.. i think a rogue is tappin on my shoulder lightly:)

My lowest rating was 1240, 3 month later ... the last week of s3 i was near the 1900. Dont give up.
ATM with this new Season is really hard to go over 1650.

The highest rating I've achieved to date was 1793 in 5v5. Thats in full S1 during S3. And I was barely losing to Shoulder teams. I was missing a large amount of spell dmg too. No glove or wrist enchants, no helm or shoulder inscription, and lastly no totem of the void. Each of these things requires time to farm. I think I can join the 2k club this season because I didnt start leveling until halfway through last season. Its disgusting how powerful this combo can be.

I just added a fourth Shammy this season and his gear is lacking. But everytime he gets an upgrade I notice a world of difference. By the time their in full S2...its gg to the rest of Emberstorm, hehe

Lost 6 games in a row, then won 4 in a row... mostly different teams. The last games I started using the positions in Ellays training videos which helped. The first games were ridiculously stupid though, got rushed then chain feared while they jumped and danced around all over the place like monkeys.

Im running 4X Shaman Box team with a Priest/Paladin healer.

Ellay's training video FTW. Patience, Patience, Patience. I lose every match I move away from my totems. The totem farm is your home, your church, your work, your everything. You leave the farm and its gg.

My new strat can be summed up by "DMG/HEAL/DMG/HEAL and Purge to find the soft spot!"
