Nethermancer Sepethrea. Please Help.

Nethermancer Sepethrea (http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=19221) is one of a very few 5 man bosses I cannot even begin to dent with my 1 Paladin 4 Shaman group, not even on Normal, much less Heroic.. If anyone has any strategy for this boss that works PLEASE let me know.

Last night I did Mech for the first time and tried to find MB tactics info on her. The problem for me started to be the fire ele's, so after I downed Pathaleon I thought I'd give Sepe a try.

Well downed her on first try but it wasn't pretty, last shammy got killing blow same time he fell.
Anyways this is how I did her,

- Shammies at mage LB range spread out but only so far apart from each other that AoE heals from my priest would hit.
- Priest behind shammies at max AoE heal range.
- All-out dps with blowing of all CD's.
- Last shaman standing kited her to death.

No fire resistance gear was used nor any fire pots consumed, but like I said this was not a pretty kill. 8o

Just killed her again and this time around (after a normal night of sleep) it was a walk in the park.

Added the following to last nights kill and not a single one of my chars was even close to dying and only had to cast a few AoE heals.

- Fire Resist Totems (I feel like a moron not using 'em the first time around).
- 2 x Ele, 2 x Fire pets

Hope there is something here that can get you to down her. :)

yeah that was definitely sexy watching your shamans own that boss. I thought she was nigh-impossible for a boxer. I'll have to try her again now that I have better gear.

Was that heroic? Have you done it on heroic?

Very welcome Grey and thank you, I do like the setup much more then feral druid + 3 ele's + 1 resto shammy (which I just tried).

Nixi, that was normal mode. Only just today started with different HC's to find out which suit me.

Atm SL boss #1 went down but the next rooms single mobs are too hard for my setup.

I could see this being harder for the holy trinity group, but with my setup I've had little trouble. I've never wiped to her and don't even use pots or resist gear. Here's what I do. Just spread out my shaman in an arc around her, trying to keep them within 35 yds of each other so she's always in range no matter who she's beating on. The druid will stand in the middle. I drop a pretty standard set of totems, including an FR totem of course, and I drop 2x fire elementals and 2x earth. One of my shaman spams max rank chain heal while the rest of the team nukes away. I usually lose one or two guys, but I've never wiped in 4 or 5 tries.

in case anyone with a paladin tank + 4 shaman group is looking for help on this... here is what I did and she was destroyed (regular mode, patch 3.0.2).

avengers shield pull while getting 2 lightning bolt casts, drop fire elemental totems and then just kite her around while your guys are on follow.

flame shock on every cooldown (or frost shock, your choice i suppose).

when the fire elementals that she casts stop to "pulsate fire" get in a lightning bolt cast or two.. the shocks and fire elementals really tore her a new one when i did it.

without the fire elementals a dragons breath ended up wiping me each time because my guys now stand there and her fire elementals kill em all.

i do the very last boss first and just park my shamans down the hallway right beyond the line where she would reset if you crossed. I pull with avengers shield, bloodlust and nuke away, the fire elementals run so slow shes at 25% hp before they even get close. just dont let your tank cross that line where she will reset.
