We cleared karazan with my shammys today and everything went very fast and smooth, so we decided to try ZA just for fun, not with much expectations
Here's how it went:
Bear boss: first try , timed loot
Eagle boss: frist try , timed loot
Lynx boss: 2nd try. Fairly easy fight, depends more on the tanks than dps.
Jan'alai : 3rd try (no timed) This boss was kinda tricky because of all the movement and add killing.
Hex Lord: 2nd try. Was alot easyer than expected, but need to pay a lot of attention. My duty here was both purging, spell interupting and dps.
Zul'Jin: Tried but failed. It was a bit late to get any good tries. This is a very complex fight and with a lot of disruption/movement, so it will not be easy to multibox
Anyway, 5x30 badges in a day :)
I was wondering if anyone else have done much clearing in ZA?

I three box shamans, and normally I just take a single shaman to ZA but we were short one dps the other night, so I took a second shaman. It was very late (which is why we couldn't find another dpser) and kind of a mismatched group, so we only killed three bosses. Bear, Eagle, and Jan'alai. Bear and Eagle were pretty easy. And Jan wasn't too bad with only two. There was enough time for moving that I could just move each individually and just barely make it into position.
And boxing in Kara is easy and fun. Although I do hate Shade of Aran. But I do the rest of it almost every week.

. Although I do hate Shade of Aran. But I do the rest of it almost every week.
I also had problems with aran in the beginning, but when you learn him, he's fairly easy. Just burn all your cooldowns at flame breath phase, this is the ideal phase for dpsing.
Also, how are your group setup? I know a lot of groups use 2 tanks and 3 healers in kara. This might be the best for a bad geard group, but if your tank and healers are fairly good geared, just one tank and 2 healers is more than sufficiant, and leaves you with a much higher dps.

Just for a couple things. And only two healers. My normal group consists of the three of me, a destro lock, and a shadow priest. And the other 5 are prot pally, resto shaman, resto druid, and usually a mage and a fury warrior. (Which adds up to 9. I can't seem to recall a 10th regular person)
For Aran I keep getting him coming over and beating on me, which can get all three of me locked down if I cast while he's that close to me. Avoiding the Arcane explosion isn't too bad, and the blizzard I got the hang of.
Oh, what do you do for the Chess event? I usually grab two pawns and a rook or knight. Or sometimes I'll grab a healer. Since most all of the pieces have their useful command set to 3 it's pretty easy once I get them into position just by alt tabbing between my three screens.

In chess I do mostly like you. I take two pawns and a healer usually. Sometimes I take two healers since their abilitys have a long cooldown, so most of the controltime is waiting anyway :)

Tried Zul'jin today. Had him on 7% Twice :(
But it went a lot better than expected. Hoping to farm him soon :D

Eagle phase was indeed the biggest problem, but after a few tries it went down to this:
right before this phase begins I spread my chars out a bit and place them with their backs to a wall.
As soon as he shapeshifts I burn all my cooldowns doing massive amount of damage before he begins to hit back when you shoot. This will drop him a few % . After this I go moderate dps until most of my chars is about 50%, then every char cast a Healing Wave on their self to gain some HP, continiue dps and repeat. This is very mana heavy, so you need to chew pots as crazy the whole fight.
You also need quite good gear to have any chance at all here. I think with all my buffs+totems yesterday my shammys had about +1250 dmg, 49% crit and 30 spellhaste, and I still felt I should have had more. Next try I will use a blinding light flask on everyone.
And I almost forgot:
Bring a good tank and healers too :D

I've done ZA two times now
First:
Feral druid (offtank/dps)
Prot pally (main tank)
Holy priest
Resto shaman
Shadowpriest
5 elemental shammy
Second:
Prot warr (main tank)
Prot pally (offtank)
holy paladin x2
resto shaman
5x elemental shammy
If you have a spriest and two good healers it is usually enough healing (maybe not for zuljin, didnt try with spriest there)
Second time we run without shadowpriest, and did 3 healers instead.
But I think shadowpriest and 2 healers are prefered since it both increases shammy dps and adds additional dps.

Bring a good tank and healers too :DI have yet to try him at all while multiboxing, and while uniboxing we usually just have the melee dps while the casters either wand or drop a searing totem. With all my totems I'm sitting at around 1115 spell damage, 40% crit, and 126 haste on One, and Two and Three are a little lower. And I usually pop a Blinding Light for for ZA. And I very rarely have problems with mana, cause I usually get the shadow priest (who's amazing). But I don't know offhand what her cycle is during eagle phase, so the mana regen may very well dorp off. I'll have to see if I can get all three in there someday. The problem is I run with a set group that can do bear runs. So getting two to sit out so I can bring in the rest of me, which are less geared, would be unlikely. Maybe I'll see if there are any DPS short groups around my server that could use a few shamans.
