Hello, I've recently started dualboxing 4 accounts on 1 computer, and one thing keeps annoying me.
When im running around with my 3 slaves on /follow i need to have all the four windows open, otherwise they just seem to start lagging and run slower until they eventually get out of /follow area.
Do you know any good workaround for this, since i only want to see my main character. I've noticed that while having my slave-windows minimized i don't have this lag while casting spells so i can use it while fighting, saving a considerate amount of CPU power, but it won't work with /follow.

Very detailed and messy thread but i hope you'll still understand my problem.

(Realized this might be in the wrong forum section, sorry about that )

multi screens is very cool.
you could also set all your regions to full screen... then set the maxfpsbk to 3 or 4... and the maxfps to 40. then hit the pip to swap the desired clone to the front when you need it. since the regions are all the same size, there would be no real delay in pip swap (no surfaces to re-render)

i hope that makes sense. if not, just drop me a note and i'll see if i can do a bit better in explaining. :D

eh, i think i got what you meant. You set the max fps to 3 or 4?

Ok sure, ehm what's the command doing it?

no, the maxfpsbk to 3 or 4... this means that when your alts are not in the foreground (not active)... then the frames/second will drop to 3 or 4.. saving loads of cpu/gpu

but you also need to set the maxfps to 40, otherwise it will try to get 999 fps, which is unneeded and a waste of cpu/gpu

just set the fps range in the command editor, under the wow:username
