Synergy Virus Detected

This morning I booted up my computers and avast alerted me of win32:Trojan-gen in the uninstall.exe of synergy. Avast cleaned it up and I'm running full virus scan and spyware scans. I searched the forums and I haven't heard of anyone else running into this. Has anyone seen this before and if so is it a false positive. I'm suddenly very nervous. As soon as all scans are done i'm changing all my passwords.

maybe ur file was infected due to another file, and not the original synergy file in first place.

I get the same detection with the most recent version of Avira

You can always double-check your local AV results by running online scans like Trend-Micro's Housecall or similar.

Ya I've been using Synergy for years, it's clean :)
