Aight so im working on a 4 shammy team atm. I got all 4 shammys on one screen, all equal size( nice for questing). But what im wondering is if I buy another monitor, can I dictate which shammy to put on the off monitor, and keep my main on my fullsize? Cause 4 wows on 1 22" monior is hurting my eyes.

I run 5 on a 24" screen (1,920 x 1200), the main runs at 1400x900 and all four others run at 520x300 - i use Keyclone and PiP to change the focus of the smaller screens to the main window when I need to do any major clicking (ie professions etc).

You can use another monitor and you can specify which character you have running on it

all on one monitor or spread across 2 (which is what i do).. both work well.

btw mikekim, you might want to update your local copy of keyclone to v1.8k, which was released about a week ago
(loads o' changes... hopefully for the better. check the motd under the keyclone tooltray menu for details)

Awsome. Just walked into the office on monday morning to see the responses. There was like 191 views on sunday night. What about runing 3 monitors? I run dual 8800gt cards. Is even 4 monitors possible?

Keyclone quick question?- is it possible to run Pip over multiple screens and graphics cards or is the feature just limited to each card?

although i've never tested it with multiple graphics cards... pip should work with up to 10 displays (a windows limitation).

if you find any issues, please let me know

and yes... screenshots and shots of the massive rigs are just eye candy while at work.. so, please .. post more :D

Is any additional software needed to string 3-4 monitors together. Or do i just hook em up and drag shit over to them.

@Odusx
it's all built into keyclone.

just plug the monitors into your graphics cards.. and as long as you can see the windows background... then you know they are active. at which point, define your maximizer layout within keyclone to position the wows wherever you want... and when you run the commands, your wows will appear in the specified regions

if you have any other questions, please feel free to drop me a note

Don't want to hijack the thread or anything, but what is PiP with keyclone? It sounds liek I can switch my main window with one of my slaves? Kinda like alt-tab.

Back on topic, on my plain ol' 17" LCD, I run 1280x768 on my main, and then four 320x240 below it. It works well until my new benq g2400wd comes in the mail. :D

Keyclone's PIP

(your hardware and region setup has a large impact on pip swap time)

So with 3 19 inch monitors and 1 22 inch i lag like hell. like 6fps. And i got a pretty decent setup so i think. dual core 6400 4gigs and 2 8800gt cards. Looks like its just gonna be 2 monitors, and back to best but lol.

When you put different instances of WoW on different monitors, your FPS will drop drastically. Try it, put all instances on one monitor, then move them to another monitor and it'll go down significantly.
