PiP resizing nearly instant with GTX 280!

Stuck in General since I have no clue where it should go xD

I upgraded form a 8800 GT to a GTX 280, and PiP is instant now, I thought it would be CPU based or something, tough I guess redrawing the scene is GPU bound.

Resizing from 480x600 => 960x1200 went from 4 seconds or so of lag to 0.5 :thumbsup:


Just a tip, since I don't think anyone ever really mentioned the speed of PiP resizing.

I picked the GTX 280 because I cannot figure out how to get SLI working with multiboxing. with the 8800 GTs CSAA didn't work too well, it caused alot og artifacting on the bottom 30% of each wow window. AFR 1, AFR2, and SFR all caused a lot of artifacts as well, with the load balance graph thing goign stratight to the top, and everything on the bottom half completely garbled.

So I ended up setting my WoW profile to disable SLI all together. Seeing SLI does not work, I just went and grabbed the absolute fastest card I could find. Granted I have not tried Crossfire with multiple Wows, but I have a nForce 780i, so I rather not have to go buy a p35 or x48 for quadfire.

They dont sell the GTX 280 in iceland :( total fail :S
