I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere so I thought I would drop a little tip for those that may not know about (something I actually just figured out last night).

I was boosting in Deadmines last night with my level 70 Pally and a level 10 Hunter. After clearing VC I was left with two options to start over; running out the back and running all the way back to Moonbrook, or running back through the cleared instance to the front. Both of which took much longer than I wanted.

I remembered some behavior I noticed from a while ago in another instance where one of my toons would DC and when I logged back in, he'd be back at the front of the zone in a completely reset instance. I was able to replicate this behavior which allowed me to ghetto-port my toons back to the front. It's really simple and goes like this:

When you're all done with the clear, have the group leader /camp and then log back in. When he logs back in, he'll be back at the front of the instance. Have the other invite the old group leader and do the same thing, /camp and log back in. Your toons will be in separate reset instances but they'll both be at the front. Zone them both out, group invite and zone back in; they'll be together in a fresh instance.

The trick seems to be that when the group leader /camp's and logs back in, he'll port back to the front. It never worked with anyone excpet the group leader. It doesn't even work when solo. Make sure the person who is /camp'ing is in a group and is the group leader.

Whenever I bost lowbies though DM at the end of it I log all of them out
then have my Paly leave the instance
all Lobies leave the group when they log out and when I log
them all back in bang there all at the beginning of the instance.

I re add them to my party, reset the instance bring all lowbies
out of the instance, and re-enter and woot back on a roll

I do this in every instance I am bosting in and it works just fine
And dandy helps keep some of the lower lvl Boosies alive :-)

Interesting. I was never able to get that to work unless the person /camping was the group leader. Every other time, they would just log back in to the same spot. I'll have to play around some more.

The biggest problem I'm facing now is hitting the reset limit :D

I've seen this happen if you log out in an instance for some time, i.e. 30 mins or perhaps even longer, but this seems very useful!

I just leave all of my lowbies at the beginning of the instance, and use my lvl 70 Paladin or my lvl 70 Warrior to drag each stage of mobs to them, then kill them, and once I'm done I simply back them all out of the instance and jump out with my lvl 70, and reset, and repeat.

Also, by Stage, I mean, I would round up all of the Miners up until I get to the Ogre, kill the Ogre about halfway back where the first Patrol spawn, aggro them, and bring them back to my lowbies. Then I would do the same for Sneed. By the time I got to the Goblin Room, I would pop a swiftness potion to get away from them and meet them back at my lowbies. Same for the ship with VC, however I have to kill Smite by skipping everyone on the dock, killing him, and then running up to the top of the boat and aggroing VC, jumping off the side of the boat into the water toward the exit, aggro the little mob, then swim to the door you have to blow up, and by then the enitre room is chasing me, so I pop another swiftness potion and also meet them all near my lowbies.

I also loot because I'm a greedy little MB'er, and this makes it pretty simple. It probably isn't the fastest way for me, but I find it pretty simple. (Also, Deadmines is an awesome instance.)

You know, it NEVER occured to me to keep the lowebies at the entrace and pull all the way back. I always thought the mobs would die by the time they get back to them. Maybe if I switch to a regular shield (instead of the sporegar) and use devo aura (instead of ret) I could probably get them all back with full health.

I'll try that next toon as I hit 15, went to stocks and blew through to level 20 in a few hours =D
