gonna start 5 boxing, need advice on 5 shammys or 4 shammys & pallytank

hello all.

i been dual boxing 2 shammys for a while on emerald dream eu server btw :)

this weekend i will get a pc that can handle 5 wow windows, so in a day or so i will start multiboxing 5 characters.

I spend some time reading and doing the google. but i cant quite seem to deside betwin 5 shammys with elemental speck 41.0.20 build.

or 4 shammsy elemental spec and a paladin tank,

after what i seen and read 5 shammys can use totems for cc and nuke most 5 mans instanses and some heroics.

any advantage with a pally tank vs 5 shammys when it comes to multiboxing in raids or heroics

and a side question anyone know of any multiboxing guilds on emerald dream eu server?

Ok, this one definitely been answered quite a few times before - hehe - search is your friend :D

In short:

PvE: 1 Pally, 4 Shammy (slightly tips out 5 x Shammy)

PvP: 5 Shammy.

Personally I have 5 x Shammy because while I mainly PvE, I also like to PvP on the side.

horde side, desruc-70druid, in Omen.

im multiboxing on Auchindoun (pvp) now due to a RL friend... who quit 1 month after i joined
considering transfering.

i am a "stinking" ally, Taurens looks dirty and smells bad enough, someone should give them a bath...

i am playing dranei, they take a bath everyday, nice and clean people those dranei...

name's so far is silvermacen and silverhammer lvl 55 both of them. should update this tread in the weekend by the next 3 names.

btw the guys at emerald dream seem to be friendly for multi boxers havent meet any rude or stupid people yet. had quite a few comments, cool and how do you do it and oooh can you heal and dps :) and souch comments. migth take the shammys and start up a multi boxing guild maybee other multboxers on the server want a guildtag and some friendly chat.

except a less intellectuel horde hunter that tagged 2 mobs in a row that i where attacking. i payed him back up tricking him into getting aggro from 4 mobs. didnt stick around to watch, but il be happy enough to assume he died. he stopped tagging my mobs. didnt see him again for another hour or two.

regarding my original question about 5 shammys vs 4 shammys and a pally, still havent made up my mind on that question, shammys got tanking "pet" totems and dps pet totems.

pally got better tanking aggro then those pets i ussume as well as nice aoe tanking, as well as salvation buff :) that should come in handy as well as it stacks with the aggro lowering totem as far as i have read.

but 5x dps can kill mobs faster as well work better in the arena and bg then 4 shammys and a pally?.

If you plan on running a lot of instances, I'd stick with a pally tank and 4x shaman. It's just far easier to maintain aggro on multiple mobs, especially with the AoE-tank pally spec.
