Old Lurker.. first post :D

Sooo I'm a mac guy, that tried multiboxing on windows and just loved it. buuuut i'm sooo not going to assemble a pc again.

I'll be getting one of those sexy 24" imac since theyre enough for my daily needs and stuff (the bto 3ghz beauty with as much ram as i can get).

Even tought I can multibox on mac os, the multiboxing software is so crappy i wont even bother. already got myself a keyclone license (Awesome software AND support!), and will be running windows using boot camp (worked on my old mac pro like a champ). before anybody asks, i dont have the mac pro anymore.

If i can run 3 instances of wow on a core duo (not c2d) notebook, I'm sure the imac can handle 3 wow instances just fine...

the question is, can it handle 5?

judging from the hardware specs of the imac i want (posted at the end of this post), what would you guys say?

Specs

2.4GHz, 2.66GHz, 2.8GHz, or 3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor 6MB shared L2 cache at full processor speed 1066MHz frontside bus 800MHz DDR2 SDRAM; 4GB NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GS graphics processor with 512MB of GDDR3 memory
I also plan to use my wacon cintiq as a secondary screen for the evil elemental shammie drones.

Thanks for any advice! Luv this forum, and I blame everyone here for getting me addicted on this game again.. was about to quit when i found out about multiboxing lol

probably not with 4gb of ram

my 24" can run quite nicely with 3 accounts on OS X

i wouldnt want to push it tho it gets pretty hot

just get a tower with 2.8 or 2.6 quad core and 8gb ram (not apples ram) with loads of video cards

or else run 4 slave accounts on your 24" and go buy a refurbished laptop and run your main

its "nice play" when you got a main on a different computer and its not like it needs to be state of the art

but thats how i run things here. clonekeys is nice and simple and i love being simple

after you run with keyclone, clonekeys just isnt enough anymore.

clonekeys IMO is one damn bugged software. I'm not using it anymore thank god.

if I have to go for a tower I'll just wait a bit and get a pc to run the multibox.. meanwhile i'll just 3 box on the imac :D

just to no sound like a hater :P
i say clonekeys is bugged cause it rly is. lots of times i was running it it would just auto add a random window from the system and start clonning my keys there too...

once i even had it broadcast my login info on my msn window... -_-

Send Keyclone a whole bunch of money to re-write Keyclone for Mac. :)If i had the money I would sooo do that :P

Anyway.. Ill get my iMac and 5 box on it till it fries lol.. or I get inclined to buy a PC just to multibox. or like user said. run the 4 guys on the imac and the "main" on another comp.

If anybody has anything else to add plz do :D

PC? dont do it man!

You'll get confused and disoriented. Stick to the third degree burns man.

Theres nothing like a single click mouse and pushing multiple buttons swimming in a downwards spiral.

Oh yeah with clonekeys keep it in your download files and unzip each time you wana use it. I get no problems with when i doing this.

Any wany keep us posted would be nice to get a few more posts under the belt or else ill have keep posting unwanted ROFL LOL LAWL on each fourm just to get over a beginners rating.

Well i havent really looked into Keyclones but I all I could see that was useful was the roundrobin keys and other things but i just channel each single characters to a different action page.

remember W, click, Apple Key, dive!
