Hey guys, im pretty new at multiboxing, learning as i go. I am working on 4 shammys atm and when I use the windows key alot my fps and screen tearing goes way down. I normally run all 4 at like 125-140 fps. But when im cycling thru them alot it drops down to like 25 and its all broken up and at that point i just restart all 4 copies of wow. Also when i use the command start up in keyclone it seems to be worse. So i just manually start 4 copies of wow. I tried using the maximizer and my cpu didnt like that at all. I ended up deleting some of the files in the WTF folder and then got wow going again. I just recently did a cpu make over and someone told me i might need to reinstall windows. Hopefully yall can help me out with some info. Thanks

You are playing each WoW instance Windowed right?

What are the specs on your comp?

G'morning Odusx,

keep in mind, with numerous wows running at once, your fps won't be the same as running a single.

you say you run "all 4 at 125-140fps".. i doubt this is what you think. are they all on the screen at once, or overlapped.. one behind the other?

as for maximizer, you need to restrain your wows by using maxfps and maxfpsbk. if you don't, each wow will try to get 999 fps.. killing the cpu and yielding less fps for each.

another trick would be to spread your wows across different cores if you are using a multi core cpu. just try to leave cpu0 fairly light, as the system uses it for its own tasks.

also, please insure you are running v1.8k

let me know how that goes,

Rob

Ahh, No im not running each one windowed, but that sounds better lol. As far as the system goes. its a duel core 6400, 4gig ddr2, 2 8880gt's( i hit 350frames lol). My cpu freaked when i tried to use the maximizer. Your prolly right, but my main screen runs at 120-140 frames while 4 boxing. As for the version ill have to check when i get home im at work now.
