OH NO!!!!! :(
I loved watching him on the Flip Wilson show, Johnny Carson, and Carrol Burnett Show etc.....
I started collecting his albums way back around 1975, he is/was my all time favorite comedian.
All those years ago, when I stayed up late just to watch George host the very first episode of Saturday Night Live ;(
R.I.P. George, thanks for making us laugh........
P.S. He makes the third celebrity that I cried for, when I found out they died......
The other two were Luciano Pavarotti and Frank Zappa

I'm beginning to feel the same.. people dropping left and right. It's funny, when I was in high school, I thought 71 was ancient. Now that my parents are very active and in their mid-60's, 71 doesn't seem old at all. Or maybe it's the fact that every year I'm closer to hitting that mark myself..
George Carlin is right up there with Robin Williams in my favorite comedian list. I love his '10 Commandments' bit, his 'where have all the good boy names gone' bit, and of course, his (expanded) dirty word list. Yesterday's event was the comedic equivalent of Marlon Brando's death.
