I had never really had latency issues before trying quad boxing. I'm not sure if it's from how I set everything up or if there's something technical I'm missing. I'll start from the beginning.

First of all, I'm opperating on an HP Media Center PC mm7334n. AMD 64 Athlon x2 processor and had upgraded to 3gb of ram. My graphics card is an ATI Radion 1600. I reformatted my machine and installed wow just a week before setting up for quad boxing and had only downloaded ventrilo and various WoW mods. I'm running a 8232 kbps cable connection and have tried with and without a router for the same results.

I downloaded Keyclone and paid for it. It's working great for me. I have a 19" monitor showing 3 screens at a 800x600 ratio and a 32" monitor set at 1360x768. I had copied the WoW folder three times creating 4 different folders. they are named World of Warcraft One, Two, Three and Four with match shortcuts to each folder. I'm new to this and didn't read up on partitioning my hard drive, but had read that it's argued to be effective either way.

I made it to level 35 on my 4 shamans with no issues in latency. Over the past few days I average 1 account in the green, 2 in the yellow and 1 in the red with a sparatic latency of 300-800 ms. Through testing different things, I haven't been able to get my latency back to normal. I just tried opening one WoW account to see if it was being caused by multiples and was suprized to see that the single account is reflecting a 400 ms still.

Is something wrong with my set up or is it a fluke that this is happening? Why would the in game latency differ from account to account being that they are all reflecting the same connection to Blizzard's isp? (I think that's what the in game latency is showing anyways)
