Do you blame them? The MB QQers are trying to influence Blizzard's policy every day, when they have stated there is no problem, and they are not concerned about the practice. There's another whiner in the US General forum today, who refuses to back off his idiotic stance that MBing is cheating, and is seizing on any and all warped definitions of what cheating is to defend his crying.
In all honesty, it's the same people, over and over, and they are just uptight, anal retentive/more than slightly OCD types who refuse to let go of their crying, because they got beat up in a BG by MBers. It's almost a mental illness.
Their new shiny toy they've grabbed onto is the "unintended" aspect - they're making it seem like we "discovered" MBing by accident, and all Blizz has to do is review it and "discover" it's cheating. It's low down, filthy, lazy thinking, and the ones that do it need to be publically made fools of for doing it, it's loaded language to make it seem like MBers are directly or indirectly breaking the rules, and they only use that specific word to cast MBers in a negative light. That's one issue I wish a Blue would respond to, and stomp flat - just post that Blizz was aware of MBing all the way through development, and while MBing was not considered the official way to play, they indirectly supported it with /follow and other tools, and decisions were made knowing full well MBers would benefit. That will end that line of crying - and they'll move onto their next QQ flavor of the week.
The bright side is the threads generate a lot of interest in MBing, and I'm seeing a huge swell of support of MBing, whereas in the past it was uniformly negative. We get to grow our community, we get more support, and they get...to cry more. Win win! :) But if Blizz is deleting threads (the CSF GMs in the US forums don't waste any time on them anymore, good for them), they better be careful or there might be some forum vacations happening if they keep beating what's left of the dead horse - or Blizzard will do something the directly supports MBing, they can and have been that snarky in the past.
I mean, c'mon, Blizzard has MB screenshots in their screenshot gallery.

The irony is, most of these Multiboxing crybabies are MultiBoxing (in a way), themselves.
How? By logging on with 10 different alts and posting in their own thread saying "I agree with the OP, Multiboxing is cheating" :D

Mostly it's people who are upset at being thrashed, and knowing that they have no way to remedy it. I'm sure that they're used to situations where they get ganked, then they wait for an opportune moment to get their revenge, but instead they just wind up walking into 5 lightning bolts over and over.
They assume that repeatedly complaining will work, because they think it has in the past. This is, in nearly every case, incorrect. Correlation is not causation. Just because a lot of people whined before a particular change was made, does not mean that the whining was the reason the change was made. I will say again-- do not expect to see multiboxing forbidden, ever. At the very worst, Blizzard may tinker with class mechanics if they feel that a particular ability is too powerful when used in multiboxing, but that is about all that they'll do... and don't expect them to do that often, either.

How? By logging on with 10 different alts and posting in their own thread saying "I agree with the OP, Multiboxing is cheating" :DYou may be suprised to find out that quite a bit of the MB QQ'ers have more than one account, usually not all in their own name, but don't use programs like keyclone or ahk or w/e simply because they don't know or want to know where to get them or how to use them thus they claim foulplay.
Some just don't even understand what exactly multi-boxing is. Had a former guildy once give me crap about multi-boxing when I pointed out that he used his friend's druid to "carebear" boost up his draenei shaman up to 70 when BC hit. He said it wasn't multiboxing because he didn't have 5 accounts, the one he was using wasn't his,he wasn't using a 3rd party program, and only used the druid to heal, buff, and rez himself by alt-tabbing. To which I told him "Dude that is multi-boxing, just the hard way and account sharing is against the ToS. Anytime you're logged into more than one account at a time, guess what, your multi-boxing."
