So yeh, i run 3 toons with ease. but i felt like doing some 5 boxing, created 2 more accounts & created some chars. But when i log in im face with bad fps problems - I also have problems with many textures stretching across my screen and some dissapearing.
I feel i have computer specs that should run 5 boxing fine, they are:
Quad-core Q6600 @ 2.40Ghz
6GB RAM
XFX 384MB 8800GS
1TB 32MB Cache samsung spinpoint HDD
Windows XP 64-Bit
Is there something im doing wrong here? any input is welcomed - really want to start 5-boxing :P
Thanks in advanced , Carnage

Could it be your graphics card that cannot handle 5 accounts at once? I would think so.

if you are using keyclone, make sure to set your maxfps and maxfpsbk in the command editor... this will help limit the fps your wows are trying to pull

I have the maxfpsbk set to 15 and the maxfps set to 30 , i guess it has to be my gfx card then - what would you suggest i should get? cant be too expensive though :(

You might want to check the CPU affinities of the five WoW's with Task Manager and make sure that they are not all limited to the same two cores.
How much do you want to spend on a video card? The video card market changed radically two days ago when AMD released the HD4850 and Nvidia dropped the price of the 9800GTX to compete with it. Best Buy was selling HD4850's for $150 in-store yesterday. If you can get it at that price, it's the best deal in the history of video cards.

I run a leser setup with little problems. 5 accounts on one screen with min 15 fps, and max 45. Each core is set to 1 account except for the last 2 accounts on the 4th core. Ram is my only real hurdle, where I get some pauses in Ogrimar as it hits the HD.

Hahaha, as with everything that seems to go wrong - it was a stupid mistake of mine, i didnt notice the multisample options in the video menu - each wow was set to 8x so i lowered it to 1x and now it runs perfect at 30fps :P and according to my G15 only 30-40% CPU usage oO.

I'm running it on Vista X64 (administrator mode), it it matters.
Edit: Nevermind. I had set up the region codes wrong so it wasn't working out right. :)
