I been meaning to put something in here for some time but can never remember what it was I wanted keyclone to add.

Ok, please add a feature to your program that will allow us to SAVE maximizer settings for different configurations. Meaning, lets say I want to 2 box and I wanted to have those 2 on one machine. Would love to save those settings so I can go back to them at a later date if need be. Now lets say, I want to do the same machine but I want one on one screen and the other on 2nd monitor. Then SAVE those settings.

Now lets say I have 4 accounts but I want one to be the main with 3 on the side of the screen using PIP. I would like to SAVE those settings as well.

Reason for this request is because I may have the opportunity to only use one laptop in my travels. It takes me awhile to redo the maximizer settings the way I want them to be. If I change to a 2 or 3 machine setup then I have to redo the maximizer as needed. Would be a great benefit to all of us if we could save those settings such as you do a configuration file.

I hope i explained my request sufficiently.

thanks keyclone for a great program.

This is possible now. You can create as many regions and commands as you like and then run them accordingly.

G'morning Sun,

you should be able to do what you are asking for using import and export of your maximizer layout.

if that's not what you mean, please let me know.

have a great weekend,

Rob

LOL KC your program amazes me and I learn new stuff about it everyday. Didnt realize that you could do that. I just made a bunch of regions and created different commands for diff setups. Your way is much much easier. TY

woohooo....yea buddy that just made my day too.

:) Me too, I also learned yesterday from a random post about making a startup command so i dont have to run each command separately.
Huge bonus there.

I'd like a "receive only" option, in much the same way as there's a "send only" option.

Why?

Because I use a dedicated machine for my healing, hooked up to an XKeys pro. I have full macros programmed into the XKeys (of the form "/cast [help] <blah> [target=targettarget, help] <blah> [focus] <blah> [] <blah>")... from memory, don't get too hooked up if there's a mistake in there!

That works fine if I'm playing just the healer (solo, for raidiing, without KC). It also works fine with the old "multibox" software.

It breaks horribly with Keyclone though, with keystrokes missing 99% of the time. Since it doesn't happen with Multibox (which is just a receiving client on that machine), I'm assuming it's something to do with the broadcasting code.

Of course, I could be miles out, but it's worth a shot and would let me finally lay Multibox to rest.

hmmm.. a 'receive only' might be do-able, i'll have to check into that.

That would be awesome. Happy to beta test if you ever find time to do it ;)

I realise this is a bit of a niche requirement, but have you had a chance to look at a receive-only option yet?

I tried to throw my priest into a team last night and it was impossible without adding another machine into the mix (see previous post for reasons).

This isn't an important one, but making the "Mute" box remember it's location would be cool too. :P

This isn't an important one, but making the "Mute" box remember it's location would be cool too. :PI will second that, I think it is pretty important actually; location and size

Another small request: holding shift or alt or something when starting keyclone should disable the autostart command.

Thanks

stopping the auto-start?? ok... hadn't thought of that... it's on the list
