Yup Outland Suxxx.. ahem .. at least for multiboxers...
I went through the gate at lvl 58.. and I clearly should have wait till lvl 59 or better 60 to start with BC quests ....
The first bunch of quests available are done pretty fast.. then I was stuck at 80 % of the lvl 59 .. I had to go back to the old world and complete some of the quets I dropped earlyer
Just because lot of outland starting quets are made of things to pick-up.... 15 mushrooms, 10 boxes of something ... this is really a pain .. I had never been stuck like this on my outland arrival with my other chars ...
I was thrilled by the new stuff and areas for my shammies .. but now .. I'm tired...
I'm lvl 61 and I don't know how to go on ..
My advice ... don't stop your quets in Azeroth till lvl 60 !!!

I might be the outland grind at 55. But still a long way before that :(. I was planning to do all the hellfire quests (even though i hate that area) go get some gear for the team. then just grind instances.

Grind the instances to Honored, then do the quests. it will save you a lot of time doing it in that order. You can get to Revered very easily that way.

damn colt, wish i had done that:(
Um, outland quests freakin rock. I wouldn't waste any time with azeroth quests after lvl 58 for anything. And this is all for one thing: rewards.
With my 5 shammies I was almost or already 60 when I started questing in Hellfire... I was having too much fun doing quests in the old world that I never did before on my other toons because I wasn't grouped up, etc. Overall though I like Outlands quests a lot better than old world quests except for the new Mudsprocket quests they've added because many of the new quests are close together relative to the old world quests that have you traveling from one continent to another. Some Outlands quests are annoying like the Worg tails in Terrokar so I just made the rounds killing them plus the Basilisks for future Blackened Basilisk food that I'd be needing anyway.
I took my priest there at about 57, my hunter at about 54. It's painful, but the xp and money are so much better. Fel Reavers do suck though. Lots of Netherweave cloth off the evil Orcs, but the Fel Reaver pats by my favorite spot too often.

My plan is to complete some of the early quests that provide gear upgrades, then hit the instances for a few levels, then complete the remaining quests for faction and rewards, then repeat the process in Zangarmarsh. Once I've got the level 58-62/3 quests all mopped up, I only plan to do quests when there is a specific gear reward I want for them to have, otherwise it is going to be instance runs until I drop.
But for the moment I have discovered the joys of solo-leveling a hunter and might be doing that for a short time. I was going to boost a group of hunters just for kicks, but while leveling them to 8 (for RFC runs) I found the class pretty fun to play, and decided to level one 'the old fashioned way.' But the summer months are coming, and with them a summer work schedule, and that means Outland will be all mine on Friday afternoons... muahahahaha...

We just started our first outland instance (we = my 4 shamans + the fifth shaman played by my wife who joined me in the adventure)...
the whole group died at leat 3 times, and some chars only 3 or 4 times ... we took down the two first bosses .. but no way to kill down Nazan .. it's master was easy, but the fire aoe kill us all on every try ...
that's harder with multiboxed chars .... can't say if we can take him down ... it's really hard ...
btw ... go pick-up 30 zepplin stuff on the ground .. 30 x 5 ... this is PAIN !!!!

I think I was 62 when I hit the Outlands due to doing every 5 man quest in Azeroth and then I grinded instances until honored. I did one small quest line in Hellfire for shields at 58, The Ring of Blood and a couple of quest to get me to honored with some factions if the appropriate instances would only get me to 5999/6000. But having just recently hit 70 and back tracking to Hellfire to do the quests for money/rep, I feel your pain especially since I am doing every quest including collections. Don't ask why, I have no answer...

I just hit 60 on my hunters and with the EXP changes for quest rewards there really is no reason to touch Outlands sooner than you have to. Was doing Plaguelands getting 9k ~ a quest turn in and outlands gives 9.8k, it's a pretty smooth transition now instead of what it used to be.
I would suggest completing as much of the old world as possible before moving over so you can avoid the pesky collect quests and save yourself a ton of time in the process!
