For some reason I cannot post using the new version of Firefox... so don't download it yet! :)

Edit* for some reason it extends the "Message" box, so you need to start typing at the half way point instead of at the top.. hopefully Mozilla will fix this soon!

FF 3 works fine here too.

On a side note, I could see IE8 having problems with sites since it goes into standards mode by default on valid pages. This mode tends to break a lot of sites that aren't ready for it. The site authors can add a simple meta tag to make it render in IE7 mode, but that's really a band-aid fix and they would need to be aware of the tag. This site doesn't yet have the tag. I haven't tried the IE8 beta here and only have it on my work computer at the moment, so I'm not sure if there's a problem here, but I sure have seen other sites fail with it. So beware if you're planning to upgrade. 8) I don't think the release will be for a few months yet, I think I last heard they're planning for beta 2 in August.

Been running FF3 since about Beta 2 and not had any trouble here. If you can see this it means I'm able to post from the final version too..

Works for me too, although it looks a little strange.

Like, I have a "double" reply box.

same here! and it seems the upper part doesn't matter at all.. It's the lover half that Is the actual text box

For those having trouble, I'd suggest turning off your addons to see if one of those could be the problem. Beyond that, I don't know. Post a screenshot I suppose.

I am using v. 3.0 no problem also.

But the interesting common thing I am seeing here happend to me also.

If you look above the reply box, there are two tabs, Editor and Source Code. For some reason it defaulted to Source Code which splits your reply screen into two horizontal halves. If you write in the top half and click preview, you will loose your work, so you have to write in the bottom half. I found this out after spending 15 minutes typing something only to loose it and have to type it again lol.. I know, 15 mins? ok, so I'm a slow typer!

or..

Just click the Editor tab and it will be normal.

Not sure why FF v. 3 changed this setting here?

I've clicked both editor and source code tabs and I don't see any "split window" in FF3 like you guys are talking about.
