I downloaded Octopus 1.3.2 last night and had a bit of a play with settings up multiple copies of WOW on my single machine, but i ran into some problems getting the multiple displays working. I configured my zones on screen, then edited profile and linked the 2 instances of WOW, 1 to each zone, when I launched the profile, the first instance of wow loads up fine, but the 2nd zone (just using 2 copies in split screen to test) would just shimmer/flicker and not position WOW in the area correctly so i could see whatever was behind that area.

Any suggestions? I was hoping to get this working properly as it seems to be able to maximise over the top of the taskbar.

thanks.

never heard of or seen anything wrong with the maximizer, is WoW in window mode? that could be the problem. ?(

what i mean to say is it probably needs to be in window mode.

so go into wow, set windowed mode, exit, then launch profile? do i need to configure wow resolutions etc?

Also, do I understand correctly that you do not need multiple copies of WOW? most of the other multiple box programs i've tried require a separate folder for each copy of wow you wish to run.

yeah that sort of thing :)

AFAIK you can run multiple copies from one folder without any problems.... worked for me.

in the profile theres an option for auto set gx resolution which changes the setting for WoW in the config.wtf prior to launch, but WoW only has a few settings on its video settings dialog, I don't know whats going on in WoW, my program does what it can and i should think it loads with obscure resolutions but just resets when you open the dialog.
