The New Shaman Hack?

So I'm in Terokkar Forest the other day and some guy accuses me of hacking. I ask him if he could be any less informed and after replying with some jibberish he logs. (Speaking of which, that happens a lot when I try to correct them.) No biggie, we all deal with this. Well, the next day I'm in IF on my bank toon and this same guy is in general or trade chat talking about the new shaman hack where they multiply themselves. I just about died laughing and though tempting I left it alone. Just thought I would share how stupid some people really are, not that most of you didn't already know that.

I was in westfall yesterday and saw in the distance, they ran out of their way towards me, stood there, said "Hacker" and ran off again. ?(

If it really were a hack, it sure would be fun! But I guess it's more fun to do it legally and safely.

I got called a "bot train" when I was starting my locks in Northshire, who were all almost identical (different hair color/facial hair style)

I saw a leaked/lied WotLK talent that would give you 2 mirror images of yourself that cast and moved the same as you. I got excited and lol'd so hard at the thought of a multiboxer doing it.

Too bad I can't find it in the "official" leak wiki, guess it was a fake.

when i was in westfall, near the gryph master, some ppl came and started looking at me. i was sitting, in line, 3 shamans that look the same, only the hair color changes, and then one said:
"it must be a bug"
"nah, the hair is different"
"and they have different names if u see closely"

then i said lol with them all and they said: wtf!

If I remember correctly I believe Boom of Twenty Totems once responded to a how do you do that question by telling the person it was the multiply shaman spell and the guy believed him.

I wonder if this new Shaman multiplying hack is similar to the clone hack which apparently I use.

I just tell people check the general forums, there most likely will be a 15 page long thread about what im doing somewhere near the first page.

I was leveling my latest 5 toons (see sig) in Outlands over the weekend and was fighting my way to a named quest mob in a far corner of the map. I was quickly overtaking a single shaman who was close as well.

He turned around, saw me, and did a /yell "*$*&#%(#^ing Mulitboxers!!!" and tore off toward the quest mob. Of course, he aggroed two others that were close and promptly died.

I calmly killed all the mobs around and rezzed him in a safe spot. He was like, "Oh, Gee, thanks". "So how do you do that? It is so cool." I ended up helping him kill the mob he needed and had a nice conversation with him.

Trying to change the anti-boxxer bias one toon at a time (er... one person at a time, I suppose they are usually 1 to 1).

FYI - I was yelled at last night for using the new shaman hack. Apparently it turns a single shaman into 5 and allows one of the to wear plate....... ../forum/images/smilies/blink.png *SIGH* I was then promptly asked for 1000 g or he was going to report me. ../forum/images/smilies/rolleyes.png I told him to bring up the secret in game setting to use ALT+F4. While he DC'd himself I mounted up and rode to ZF....... ../forum/images/smilies/biggrin.png Lots of emotes from the horde while I was messing around with this guy. One level 70 wearing a full set of S3 was even brave enough to flag himself....
