First time poster, long time troll...

Anyways, here's my setup:

AMD 5000+ BE running at 3.1GHz

4GB DDR-800 RAM

768MB GeForce 8800GT Video Card

22" WS 1680 x 1050 monitor

I have my five accounts, and my only concern is that my machine would be able to handle 5 at once. I built this specifically for more graphically intense games, but I think I should be OK. If not, I have a second computer that is linked via MultiBox for single mouse/keyboard broadcasting that I could run 2 clients and then 3 on the main computer.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, if I use the 2 computers, then each computer would have to have it's own Keyclone so that if I broadcast via Multibox, it would send to both the active WoW clients, correct?

Sorry for the newbish questions... just looking to make WoW a bit more interesting now.

Your computer is superior to mine is every way I think, and I can run 5 instances fine (cities are not so great, but otherwise its fine)... you should be ok. Turn down all setting and run 800x600. Also use as few addons as possible.

Well, I just tested this out on my personal computer. I currently have a.......

Intel Duo 2.20 with 3.25 gigs ram (Would be 4 gigs if I had Win XP 64bit) and a 8600 GTS 512 MB Video Card,

I ran 5 accounts ALL in Stormwind (busier) and ran around with them all "Autorun" my computer could run it, but it was a little choppy, and I will not be 5 boxxing on this computer with out a back up to handle 2 accounts. Which I could do if I setup my g/fs computer next to me. But this was just to help give you an idea.

Also I'm running witha 19' as my main with 1 account, and the other 4 accounts spread on a tiny 15'' moniter next to it lol.

Well, after a little experimenting, I'm running 4 clones on the 22" and the main party leader on the 19" with the second computer...

So far, so good, graphics are low, chat boxes off (on the 22" 4 clone machine) and I'm getting around 28fps average. Granted, the wee ones are only level 6, but hey, it's a start.

I use the 19" and second computer (using Multibox to keep the keyboard/mouse to a single one) and broadcast between the computers that way. Main party leader has full graphics, etc and runs around 72fps average.

This is definitely a new experience for me, and MUCHO fun.
