How viable is a Shaman / Mage 2 box combo?

You will come to find that we really don't answer 'subjective' questions like these. Mostly because we can't answer it for you. Something might work great for me and you could suck ass at it... and visa versa.

So I'm going to say its only as Viable as you make it.

I have played around with 2 shamans and 1 mage and it is nice just to have the free water, not to mention all the other goodies that a mage can bring to the table. But that is just my two bits on the subject.

How elitist. I'm sure its 'possible' to make any combo work, but my question is on a basic functional level. Do the classes work well together for two boxing or not, which is not a 'subjective' question in the least.

Thank you Marathon for the input. No need to bite his face off. For the record shaman provide some nice caster buffs

I have 3 shaman and 1 mage. The cast times are different so be aware of that. Its nice having frost nova and some aoe ability. The free biscuits are nice along with the portals. For two boxing I would suggest doing 2 of the same class. It will make all your macros much easier. Your not going to blow people out of the water like a 5 boxer. Having two that can heal or rez the other will be nice. If you have the hardware and can afford the accounts go 5 shaman.
