3box setup - Need some help to get me started.

I currently got two accounts, but I plan on getting a third.
I have never really tested multiboxing before so my questions might sound a bit silly :(


What kind of hardware is needed to box 3 wow? Can I do with two computers? What extra hardware should I get to make controlling them all as easy as possible?

Would be great if anyone knows how to make it all work with 3boxing and please explain to me :-) If you could maybe do it over Ventrilo or IRC or something at some point it would be apreciated aswell.

Plan on boxing two hunters and a pala.

you can actually do that on 1 PC :)

but with 2 PCs you dont actually need any special hardware (besides router and stuff)

check for software sticky threads, for example you can use Keyclone to send keystrokes from one PC to another

Well the computer I normally use is not strong enough to run 3 wow. But I already have a second computer that can run once instance of wow, while my main can run 2.

Is the best sollution to run the two hunters with the best computer and the pala from the worst as it can only run one wow smoothly ( still not a bad comp ) ?

I would run pala as main on the best PC to see good picture instead of crappy low graphic settings :P

on worse computer you can just run fullscreen 1 wow with the worst gfx settings and 800x600 resolution and 2nd instance of wow minimized.

Also if your better PC is powerful enough, you can run fullscreen wow with pala and minimized wow with huntard
