Hello peoples:)
I've only been testing abit 'round with boxing so far, and the only thing keeping me for starting up really, is choosing the team. :S
I'm gona start boxing with a laptop: 2Ghz T7250 Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, 2GB Ram, NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT.
And a stationary, which im gona run my main character on: Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.06Ghz, 1GB Ram, Dont think it have a Video Card lol.
Could anyone please presice the advantages and problems about the following combinations, and if i should run 5 boxing as with 3 on laptop, 2 on stationary, or 4 on laptop, 1 on stationary, or whatever?? :D
Five Shamans - I've watched some movies. Seems interesting to me, since i've never played this class before, and because it's useful for both PvE, PvP:)
Four Shamans - Dunno why i put this one, its just the same thing about the Five Shamans, just a spot for a friend here. Healer for 5v5, Healer for Heroics:)
Three Mages - This seems for me, to be only useful in a few instances(with a tank and healer), and for world/battleground PvP. But the idea of throwing imba pyroblasts TIMES THREE and AoE the hell outta people sounds lovely:p
Three Shamans, Tank, Healer - The tank isnt really useful in PvP, and kinda slow down mob grinding while leveling, but i think it will be easier to do heroics - raids?
Three Mages, Paladin Tank, Healer - AoE'ing down heroics?, having the mages for PvP?, having Tank and Healer to make Mage PvE possible?
Thanks from a hopefully incoming boxer.

Sorry, don't know how to link things, lol. anyway, 3 posts down it's linked. Thread titled:
PVE Group?
Fursphere started a nice thread on what combos wprk where(arena, instances bg etc.) It really is the best answer to your question. Although the thread links that thread which is in the general discussion section.)

I can't really say much about the hardware. I'd say figure out what you want to do with multiboxing and develop your hardware around that. That'd be the best long-term solution.
Suvega and I both started out multiboxing with computers we had lying around the house and later, once we decided that the hobby was going to stick, went out and bought the perfect set-ups for what we wanted to do.
Five Shamans - I've watched some movies. Seems interesting to me, since i've never played this class before, and because it's useful for both PvE, PvP:)
I would say 5 shamans is more of a PvP build than PvE. While it can perform decently enough in some heroics given the right strategy, it is not exactly a "standard" PvE set up. It is, however, VERY flexible. You can sit a couple shaman, find a tank or other buddies and do well in heroics. You can sit a shaman, grab a healer and try to go for arena ratings. You can perform well in battlegrounds. As a pure hybrid-only setup, it's very flexible.
Four Shamans - Dunno why i put this one, its just the same thing about the Five Shamans, just a spot for a friend here. Healer for 5v5, Healer for Heroics:)
See above. There is no reason why you can't 5-box five shaman and then sit a shaman whenever you want to 4-box. Just because you have 5 shaman doesn't mean you're prevented from sitting a shaman every once in a while.
Three Mages - This seems for me, to be only useful in a few instances(with a tank and healer), and for world/battleground PvP. But the idea of throwing imba pyroblasts TIMES THREE and AoE the hell outta people sounds lovely:p
Suvega leveled 3 mages to make his final team of 4 mages + priest for PvP and he also uses his tank in a 4 mages + warrior + priest setup in PvE. The CC is awesome in PvE and while he rocks AoE'ing the faces off of people in PvP (or the insta-PoM+Pyro+Fireblast from the sky only to slowfall to the ground), he really enjoys his PvE more. The massive amount of CC in this group will really help in that area.
Arenas for him are just painful, honestly. With all clothies it's very hard to survive arena spike damage.
Three Shamans, Tank, Healer - The tank isnt really useful in PvP, and kinda slow down mob grinding while leveling, but i think it will be easier to do heroics - raids?
The healer can also be a shaman, just FYI. People have been having alot of success with prot paladin + 4 shaman (3 ele / 1 resto). The upside to this is that you can spec your prot pally to holy (with 4 ele shammies) for PvP if you want to 5-box PvP. It hasn't been proven in arenas but it does work well in BGs. Again, with 100% hybrids in this group you can have fun in the endgame respeccing to different combinations and seeing how it goes.
Three Mages, Paladin Tank, Healer - AoE'ing down heroics?, having the mages for PvP?, having Tank and Healer to make Mage PvE possible?
The upside to this is the amount of AoE you can do. The downside? You probably can't AoE heroics.
....but, the mages still have sheep for heroics. ;) I see nothing wrong with this setup in PvE. :)
My suggestion to you is to first prioritize WHAT you want to do with multiboxing. PvE? (standard classes work well here -- mage for CC, warrior/pally for tanking, etc) PvP? (shaman work well with spike damage, mages for AoE, warlocks for zomg SoC spam) Arenas? (shammies are really the only proven class here) A little of everything? (perhaps hybrids that you can respec to try out different role combinations?)
Figure out what you want to do, then build the classes that will help you achieve that goal. :)

Fursphere is putting together a really good post on team make ups. Maybe this will help you out.
