Correct. There is currently no way to get keyclone for "free" -- any "free" download of keyclone that you find will likely be a hacked version that comes with its very own keylogger. The only secure way to get keyclone is via the official website, which requires purchase.

There are, however, a few free software multiboxing solutions. I'm personally not familiar with them, but there should be some good links in the "Software" section of the wiki ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/wiki').

Sadly that hasn't been updated in a while (9/07). It seems to have a decent amount of accurate information though.

I'd always suggest the wiki ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/wiki') as the first resource since it can be updated often by the community. :)

I use HotKeyNet (www.hotkeynet.com). It is free, simple to use and efficient.

While I'm positive KeyClone is a great program, definitely try HotKeyNet. I believe it to be the most versatile, powerful multiboxing program. It may take a little while to understand how to set everything up, but once you do you'll find that you have a great deal of control over your toons.
