Hello mate. the main problem with boxing 2v2 is that in 2v2 it is alot more tacks / CCing / Timing needed to make a good team. But as the dude above said i think that going somthing like 2 BM hunters might be good, Or maybe somthing like 2 rogues or 2 SP.. But i think you have to awiod classes with cast time for 2v2.. you need something that is going on and on non stoping.. Like Pets with fury or lots of dots that will also heal you alittle... or a nice timing team of stealthers... Maybe even 2x moonkin with some insand spell dps might work.. they drop starfires for 6kcrits in full s3 gearing. and with some stealthing and timing you should be able to get 2 of those and some wrath and moonfire spamm before they can really do much about it.. That is the way you have to think for boxing 2v2..

Work.. kids.. girlfriends.. dogs.. etc.. is probably the reason why many of use choose to box.. so we can have some quality time when we are playing.. and most of use are to old to heng out with the kids :D

well i actually have rogue + boxxed character in mind

boxxed character can be either druid, mage, elementalist.

I levelled them separately so i haven't actually multiboxxed those specific characters much.

I don't think it would work out good, not enough burst dps.

The problem with a boxer in 2s is the fact that two heads are better than one. A boxers strength comes from the face that 5 heads are sometimes too conflicting to be better than 1 or 2. Thats why we excel in 5s. All 4-5 dps are 100% exactly on the same page and in sync. No "I thought this" or "why didn't you do xxxxxx".

In 2s I believe you would simply get outplayed anything past 1650ish rating....

so i might stand a better chance 3v3 or 5v5 then in 2v2? (considering i pick a better setup) hehe

thanks for the comments

Even if you lose every game, every week in 2v2 and in 3v3, DOES it make sense to still do it? Do you get any points in a 100% losing team?

well right now i've been just forfeiting 3v3's, yes you still get points. But once your ranking is super-low it takes awhile for the game to find someone who is ranked around your level. X(

I've been doing 2v2 with a couple of my exisitng 70's (feral druid, resto shammy) and our rating sucks on toast. When I first started I seemd to find a lot of teams that were either dumping points or just really really bad (Pallys and moonkin that didn't heal, at all. Thinks like that). Since the most recent point system changes though, all I seem to find are overgeared teams that destroy me in seconds.

But more to your point, I'll echo what others have said. 5v5 you can do pretty well because of the tremendous focused burst damage you can do. 2v2 seems to be more about Crowd controll, interrupts and especially movement. Which of course is a multi-boxer's big weakness.

thanks for the commentsYes you will do much better in 5's due to the sheer focus fire 5 characters can put out.

With my shamans I run 5 shamans, I don't swap out one for a live healer because I don't have a problem switching and doing lesser healing wave real fast in between lb's.

Last week I went 9-1, and this week I am 16-2 so far.

you will also get more points in 5v5 for an equal rating.

I doubt it will be worth doing 2v2.. Right now I am doing 3v3 and its frustrating. My initial attacks always seem to almost kill someone. And before I can finish them off they are full healed. By that time their dps is wtf owning one of my guys. The only way I have a chance in 3v3 to win is to kill one on my first attacks. If they get full healed plan on being cc'ed out the ass and never being able to mount an offense anymore. I think the only arena multiboxing shines is 5v5. Until I get 2 more shaman I have to settle for losing 3v3's.

Didn't that warrior that does the "Warrior tricks" movies box in 2v2? He playes the warrior and box the healer behind him :P
Obviously not better then a real person but he won some games for sure.
