Hi all,

I desire to Multibox AoC on a PvP server, and am wondering what duo (2) combination would be the most effective from a multiboxers standpoint. Due to the shakiness of autofollow, I want to stay away from melee all together.

My thoughts are:
Pom/Pom - Heals don't stack, but meh. AE knockback x 2, AE nuke x 2, AE conal nuke x 2.
Ranger/Ranger - Single Target instagibs all the way around. Very good single target CC/snares.
Necro/Necro - I don't know if DoTs stack. Even if they do, the class' benefit is being able to kite while DoTs tick, not something you can do well while MBing.
Demonologist - Tempting, but they are so broken it is retarded. In Theory, would be the fastest AEing duo. However, in PvP relies on running while waiting for fast/instant casts to be available. Standing still during any melee's combo = getting 1-shotted.

I'm pretty set on PoM/PoM, but PoM/Demonologist or Demo/Demo sounds pretty juicy as well. Also Necro/Necro utilizing Hide and then sending minions in does sound fun.

i play a necro, and with all the pets i have groups up with some caster class (uses lightning) and he puts a buff on the group to do damage like a aura, i dunno what class it is or what the spell is but my pets tear through shit amazingly fast with that buff, 8 pets + that aura = a shit ton of damage

That's a tempest of set and it's called Storm Crown. Extremely powerful in melee (or melee pet) heavy groups

Right!

On the above advice, I decided to make a Necro + ToS. The necro seems to be the closest thing to a Warlock, which I played a bunch of in WoW and enjoyed.

The duo works well, but AoC does not work well at all for Multiboxing.

There is no /assist command, only a shaky built in assist function which rarely works properly.
There are no macro scripts available and no released API information.
/follow is bugged all to hell, although with certain work-arounds, you can make it work properly (almost).

Get around assisting by having your ToS heal your group once your main is in combat. That'll put him in combat and when you try and cast a damage spell it'll autotarget closest mob in combat. Since all of your ToS's damage spells are AE anyways, it doesn't make much of a difference.

Also, I concur on ToS being a good MB'ing healer.

Pom with a Tos works well

Hi there!

I've been reading theese forums for years now, but rarely post..
Since at the moment I started multiboxing AoC, this seems to be the right topic to continue discussion.
Right now AoC for multiboxing seems fine, however I am at the very early levels just yet. I used to play AoC solo a lot
so I kinda aware what to expect.
Now I am playing with 6 Necromancers, and can't wait to have all pet slots available, which would mean a really cool army :)
6 characters + 72 pets + 3-6 temporary pets
Currently all the issues I have is with the assist function, because this way my main need to engage combat before slaves do, which means quite a delay before the rest of the group hits the tartget. I keep on looking for some "get target's target" add on or other solution to replace this build in assist.
If you have any suggestion, it would be much appreciated!

Thx
