Greetings!

Been dual-boxing for daily quests and primal farming on my hunter and priest for a little while now, and my boyfriend has started dualboxing for the same on his mage and priest. Being that together we're 2 healers and 2 dpsers, I'm contemplating getting a third account for a tank. How bad would it be to break the 1T, 3D, 1H rule for us and does anyone have a recommendation for which type of tank I should go for? I was thinking a warrior might be easiest since I can have him charge ahead, but then again, pallies have aoe tankage down. Keep in mind that we'll have 2 healers and will be a hair bit short on dps.

Yeah that was helpful. It seems like the holy trinity is the best way to go for us probably. It seems alot more folks go with a pally tank than a warrior one, so that might be a sign. I might level a healadin with another hunter now. When They hit 70, I could switch specs to a tank then. That would leave me with hunter/priest for dualboxing and hunter/hunter/pallytank to group with up with his priest and mage. Plus, I guess it'll be easier leveling that hunter with a healer around than with a warrior.

you forgot to mention the main reason paladin tanking is so easy... not only do they cause lots of easy mode threat (consecration) but they come with the tanks best friend..

Blessing of Salvation!

i have 2 teams with pally tanks and i love them. i have a prot warrior and a feral druid lvl 70, they're fun to tank when i'm just playing with friends because there is a lot of stuff u can do to hold aggro but pallys are the only way to go when youre trying to control 5 chars at a time. i would never even attempt to do it with a warrior and 3 caster dps without salvation lol

Absolutely. I have a prot pally and run heroics frequently.

I've tried them with my 70 druid and my 70 warrior and can get through them, but it is SOOO PAINFUL.

Since I'd like to run a couple groups through daily heroics, I'm leveling up another pally rather than try to use the druid or warrior - that's how much "better" (easier?) pallies are.

All that said, there are people here who have had success with druids or warriors 5-boxing heroics, but they must be a lot more skilled than I.

Don't forget, you only have 2 healers if you want 2 healers. Nothing stopping either of you speccing your priest to shadow-spec to put you back to tank, healer, 3 dps. The other thing to consider is that lolsmite isn't bad dps, and if you have 2 priests you can both use lesser rank heals for healing, but cast both at the same time. This allows you to have less mana usage per heal and less worry about healing agro since the threat is spread between 2 sources.

As for the tank, yeah def go with a paladin to just make it so much easier on yourselves.
