Healing issue for a newcomer

Hey

when i heal with my 5 shammy's they all heal one another, how do i do so they heal just one target
my main character is pointing at...

something about targets target i guess but how still :huh:

If your running 5x shammy I'd just have your main focus your healer.

Then just use
/cast [nomod, target=mouseover, nodead, exists] Lesser Healing Wave
/cast [mod:shift, target=mouseover, nodead, exists] Healing Wave
/cast [nomod, target=player, exists] Lesser Healing Wave
/cast [mod:shift, target=player, exists] Healing Wave

Thats what I'm currently using for my 62 x4 Shammies. I'm sure this can be revised and made smaller but it works as is. It heals your mouse over target, if you don't have a mouseover target it will heal you instead.

I'm sure others will mention more efficent methods than this :)

But if you were looking to have all your of clones heal a specified target you could try

/cast [target=focustarget, noharm] Lesser Healing Wave
/cast [target=focustarget, harm] Lightning Bolt

2-1 Macro :P Heal and DPS.

I focus my main and use /cast [target=focus-target] DPS for my damage and /cast [target=focus-target-target] Heal for my healing. It makes it so you heal whoever has aggro (in case an alt gets aggro instead of tank). You can also put in a /cast [focus-target, help] Heal in first, so incase you want to heal a friend outside of your group (heals whoever the focus is targeting).

is target replaced by name or is focustarget ??

Hey

Nice guide u made there, ive used the invite and accept macro... almost copy paste and very very useful
but i still dont understand that focus macro...

all my chars have to focus on what my main character is pointing at, or something like that... :|
