I usually have been 2 boxing on separate computers. I tried 2 windows last night and I had this problem with one of my characters just running off for no reason. I have a macro with /target and /follow but he will target and follow my main but just keep on running.

It is super frustrating when I can hit this macro over and over and he keeps on running through my main guy.

On keyclone I have do not pass w,a,s,d and the arrow keys.

Anyone know how to fix this, or what causes it?

are you pushing the Auto run button? if its not in your do not pass list it will transfer over too.

I also have the autorun on the do not pass list(num lock). I will even click on my drone window and mash some buttons and it take a while before he stops running. It seems like it is not related to a key.

I personally have no idea but I remembered a section about this in one of the stickies so I thought I'd just copy&paste it in case it might help.

""Secondly, it might be an idea to add a bit in the keyclone setup section about "run aways" i.e. if people add
wasd (or whatever they use for movement) to their no?pass list pressing a modifier key (shift/ctrl/alt), then a
movement key, then releasing the modifier key before the movement key can cause your followers to get that
movement key"stuck" down, making them run in that direction till the key is pressed again on each char. So i
would say to add the following to the no?pass list aswell."
left/right alt+w/a/s/d
left/right ctrl+w/a/s/d
left/right shift+w/a/s/d"

That sounds like a good culprit, I'll give it a shot. Thanks.

I've had this happen to me a couple of times... Once it happens it's difficult to get my drone to quit running.

I THINK (not sure mind you, but I THINK), it has someting to do with holding down a movement key and moving my mouse from one window to the other (while still holding down the movement key).

When it happens I just have to keep frantically presing keys until the drone quits running.

I've had this problem a few times as well, and I've yet to nail down what it is.

(I've excluded WASD along with all Shift/Alt/Ctrl modifiersfor WASD)

The only thing I can do is mash my /follow macro, and hope I can do it quickly enough so the wayward drone will come back. If not, I have to manually intervene.

Had a scare when mounting up on the flying mounts, and the 2 drones continued up and up so fast I could not hit the /follow macro fast enough :D
I expect that the space bar had something to do with that... need to think about that for a while. That only has happened once of all the times I've mounted up on flying mounts, and used the space bar to get all the characters airbourne (May have been a shift/alt/ctrl combination).

Still need to figure out why it happens when I'm on the ground and in combat.

This link explains how to fix these issues:
