Ok, i recentlly bought a XFX 8800gs it seems to be giving me some trouble with my multiboxing that ive decided to start again. When i have two toons up it works fine with 40fps, asoon as i load the 3rd wow even at the loading screen it sends the fps down to around 5. I have a quad core processor with 4 gig of ram running windows xp 64bit edition, i dont see what could be causing this issue. The graphics drivers are fresh from the XFX website, perhaps i should go to the nvidia website and download there drivers? Does anyone know what could be causing this?

Im also capped at 40fps when in wow solo, i suppose there is a cap somewhere in the nvidia settings. Im also looking for help with a monitor, i spilt a drink and it got into the bottom of the monitor (acer AL2251 W - 22" widescreen) i left it to dry out for a few days and then opened it up to clean it with pure alchohol. But ive had no luck, the only thing that is affected is a board that the power, and inputs go to. Does anyone know of a place i would be able to get spare parts for acer monitors?

Thanks in advanced - Carnage

Seems i fixed both issues, typical :P

The problem with the first issue was that the nvidia software was set to render the wows as if they was on separate monitors, the problem with fps was that i remember i set it to 40 in wow ages ago :P

Problem with my monitor still stands if anyone can help :P

i really doubt anyplace sells replacement panels/boards/crystals etc for monitors, the only thing ive heard of ever being replaced in a monitor was the tubes in a CRT

I contacted acer and they say it will cost me 53 pounds just to inspect it, then they wll tell me the cost of the repair - i may be better off buying a new one and selling this one on ebay as faulty. Unless i can find a faulty monitor of the same model :P
