After spending weeks and weeks in the EU-cyclone battlegroup (kinda like BG9) hovering between 1600-1700 rating, i got sick of meeting full S3 people.
And with my 2 best ingame friends leaving the server to gear up in another battlegroup, i decided to move too.
The descicion fell on Xavius-EU alliance. A member of the not-so-proud battlegroup Ruin.
4Servers with 2 of them beeing PvE, 1 RPPVP and 1 PVP(Xavius).
My friends had already left for this server, and the first night of playing, they hit 1800 rating on their 2v2. (They hovered at 1600-1700 too)
I set up my transfers and was good to go...
The first 3 transfers went smooth as silk, but on the fourth, Blizzard denied my card, and put a 24 hour suspension on entering payment info.
The next day I called Blizzard and sorted it out.
Stuck with 1 shammy on my previous realm and not 100% sure the transfer would be made in time, i made a 3v3 and played 10matches.
It went so-so but keeping around 1500. But atleast, i was sure of getting points on all shamen.
Last night my last transfer came through.
I logged all four of them on, and started spamming for a 5v5 healer. Some responded, but most were poorly geared or had a bad attitude.(This server has never seen a multiboxer before)
So sick of spamming /2 i went to get my 5v5 charter, but arriving at the Nagrand Arena i found the arena master swamped with horde.
So what do we do with the opposite faction?
Kill them ofcourse, full totem spread, and GO.
I had the advantage of suprise, but still severely outnumbered i knew i was going down at some point but, i was going to take some with me!
The fight started with me dropping 2 before they knew what was happening, and then i got rushed by everyone popped fire elems and started healing.
It was looking grim... But out of the blue, my main recived a 7k holy light from nowhere, and cleanses on all teammembers.
1minute later, and 11horde lay dead.
Then the wispers, and /say started.
"OMFG, you and I are doing arena! 5v5!"
He spammed me down before i could even think about answering.
From behind a wall, a stout dwarf pally emerged, full S3, and in a 2k rated 5v5.
He had actually just seen the new Ellay video (thx for the promotion Ellay) and was stoked to see a mulitboxer.
He dropped his 5v5 and was the last signature on my charter.
We signed up, and it went silky smooth, i mean, having a GOOD healer and having a GREAT healer is a BIG difference.
On Cyclone i had a druid healer, he was good. But i mean, with this paladin, that knows the game, and him beeing able to stand still and heal, like a tank.
Its great....
We hit a record of 18-4 reaching 1722 rating. But this will improve drastically. ;)
The 4 losses was against the same team, a good priest, a druid, 2 sl/sl locks and a warrior, they knew exactly what they were doing.
The warrior charged inn, i almost drop him (4-10% everytime) the priest massdispells my heroism, i change target to him and burst away. 2/4 times i kill him. But the locks chew through my grounding totems so fast, and with them gone, they start seeding. Warrior hitting the seeded targets and the druid CCing my pala. I have no idea how to beat a team that good. (more spelldmg would go far on dropping the warr fast enough)
But still, after a setback with transfers and trouble finding a healer. I actually bump into one by accident, and he is actually a damn good healer for my team..
Lucky me. 1850 is the target before 24th of june. I dont have the points to get the mace, but its a goal. And god darnit! We are gonna make it!
