First blood from a 70!

So, my level 55 shamans are questing around WPL at the moment, and last night they popped into that house in Sorrow Hill to talk to Auntie Marlene.

Suddenly, Seeds of Corruption start hitting the group as I notice a filthy level 70 gnome warlock in the doorway behind me. My frantic key mashing accidentally includes 'R' so not many spells get cast, but a poor guildy got spammed with five lots of "333333332233223333". Anyway, five seed detonations amidst characters that only have 2500HP each has a pretty predictable outcome.

Ten minutes later, I'm in Andorhal collecting skeletal fragments, and I notice the same 70 warlock and his 60 warlock chum running towards me. This time, I keep it together. I start running away, deploying a full spread of totems, then about face and blast the 70 with 5x Elemental Mastery Chain Lightning. 60% of his health disappears instantly. He craps himself, pots and healthstones, but to no avail. The subsequent salvoes of Lightning Bolt take him down as he's backing slowly away. His 60 chum stands there in shocked disbelief for a moment, and then turns and runs. He doesn't get far.

Laugh? I nearly shat myself! This was the first time I'd been up against a 70 on my shamans, and I must say I was very pleased with the outcome (the second time anyway).

Not really one for bragging, but I just wanted to share this highly enjoyable encounter with my fellow multiboxers. I just wish that I'd had the presence of mind to take a screenshot while I was laughing my ass off.

Awesome! im still waiting for my first 70 kill... i have gotten a warrior to 10% and a priest to 15... my girls just turned 55... so should be soon:)

BTW.. my new pasttime is going to gadget or BB and showing what i can do to 3 allies the same level of me that are standing too close together:)

Yeah, it does feel nice taking down your first 70. Mine was at 59 with my 4 guys. A 70 pally was ganking everyone near stadium in Hellfire. I didn't realize he was there when I came running down the ramp. Soon as I saw him I hit EM CL. He saw me and started heading towards us when the CL hit and half lifed him. 1 volley of LBs and a frost shock just as he got to me dropped him. No dmg to any of my guys, the fight was so quick I think he didn't have time to think about bubbling. I'm sure he was a bit upset to go from full health to OoooOoo in 1.5 seconds.

As level 52 Shamans in Felwood, a level 60 Warrior flagged and /spat on me. I flagged. He charged. I cast 5xChain Lightning with Elemental Mastery with a Frost-Shock followup on. He died instantly.

His level 53 rogue friend, who was also spitting on me like crazy, declined the opportunity to flag up.

Ahh the good old days of your first kill, now I cannot remember my first kill, but boy do I rememeber all the time horde stood there in AHHHH then BOOM they die. Good times.

my 5 man crew is only 35 atm and im on a pve server but I had my first pvp kill the other day and it was fun. I rolled past some other toons battling on the way up to SM and as im passin by one of the ally guys yells "Sweet 5 boxer, can I get some help" So I flagged and blasted a couple of em till a 70 showed up and ended my fun.

My first kill of a 70 was at lvl 50. I was in SS and a lock was ravaging the town. When I saw him, I dropped grounding totems and started nuking. Got him down to 50% with npc help, and you could see the grin dissapear as he realized he wasn't doing anything to me, and was dropping fast. He bailed out of the town towards the river, and got out of the NPC's and started dotting and nuking. I healed through and kept throwing lightning, and he went down without me losing one. He then SS and dropped 3 before I got him again. Doh! :) Anyways- I'm sure the NPC's helped- but that was my first 70 kill.

At 56 I took out a Paly, Lock, and Mage (all 70) outside the npc's in SS- though I had to rez the group a few times. >) I have to say I got pretty lucky with that one- think they were confused that I came back after the original gank upon arrival at the fp.

Not trying to brag- it is just so thrilling to run against odds like that and win. :)

took out a 70 priest yesterday in gadget... in a fair fight... both went outside and did a /ready... at 55..

My fave was a solo in a AB so it probably doesn't count... my level 44 Shaman up against a cocky 49 Pala... it was shortly after 2.0 so I think he wasn't expecting me to be dual-wielding flurry axes with life stealing on them :D I took him to <10% before he bubbled and healed (I stood and bandaged :D) then I took him all the way down... I know it isn't a dual-boxing kill, but I don't have any of them yet... it is my favourite though.. a DW enh shammy before thw WF nerf could do some awe inspiring damage... I was running at 0.7 weapon speed for most encounters... SCT was a wall of green as LS procced constantly, 10 hits off a Stormstrike
