I'm not going to bother with the links, we all know where they are at.

But good grief - this is disgusting! I have seen no less than six different MB threads today and that's just counting the haters. All started today or yesterday and they are all going to hit 10 pages before the day is out. Sad. Truly sad.

I had a big time hater last night, he was pretty pissed that his 70 hunter got pwnd by 3 level 66 shaman. He went so far as to create 3 horde toons so that he could harass me verbally, while his guildmates ganked me.

The original hunter disappeared shortly after I reported his harassment, but he no doubt got his from the GM who was quite prompt in answering my ticket. I wouldn't be surprised if some of them were in those threads.

I am all for the mechanics of world pvp (read ganking), thats why I'm on a pvp server, but people really need to lighten up when it comes to straight up harassment.

Dang Furs - don't let it get to you :) I've been leveling hunters right now and have not experienced any of those issues at all, everyone that passes by thinks it looks awesome. Perhaps your just getting some bad luck.

Watch out - /dance /spit generates more hate and more of a desire to camp your lowbie hunters =(

Fur, sad to hear you talking like that mate, you being one of my original faves on these boards. where has the thick skin gone? Just ignore the haters.

I've rolled on Ravencrest PvP to see how it feels a little, but the team is only L10 so far 4x hunters 1xPriest. Said hi to the good Dr already, waiting for Largepants to be online to say hi too.

so glad im on a non-pvp server.

/shudder.

tho im afraid to go into a BG. went WSG once and my own team was brutal lol. totally made me not want to try PVP evar again. Maybe at 70...

The attention is just nutzo. these damn kids need to just grow up and get over the 'omg multiboxer' thing like everyone did in eq. sheesh.

anyway, quitting is what the bastids want ya to do; whose gonna spank them if you quit=x. you cant quit! think of the children. they need their spankings.

kidding, mostly. though the whole thing does strike me as horribly, horribly immature. Probably says something philosophical about WoW's larger player base, hehe.

I agree with you Fur... I'm around that point now...

As it is, I log in for 5 mins... just to do the transmutes and tailoring CD.
Once or twice a month, I log in for 10 mins to sell all that crap on the AH.

I'm just giving it a little more time before I completely shelf it until expansion.

Sad to see members of the community quitting due to the anti-multibox haters. I had to report one myself yesterday, but perhaps I've been lucky - my server is 98% positive and only 2% negative. I've only had to report 4 people so far in 7 weeks.

To be fair, they are the first four people I've EVER had to report and I've been playing since Beta, but such is life I think. I hope you all get back into the game and find a better atmosphere to play in. Personally, I'm glad I'm on a PvE server especially now, as I can only imagine what some of the haters would have been doing on a PvP server.

Yeah, getting harassed constantly keeps affecting the next encounter. I keep getting less patience and a more 'in your face' attitude. I did AV all last weekend. I had been waiting to be able to do that particular BG forever. Melting horde face was great. Having teammates QQ and constantly send my alts tells (which get relayed to me) was exasperating. Reporting them after the BG- priceless. :)

The only thing I have found that compensates for this are the people that cheer you on and think what you are doing is amazing. I had 3 70's following me around for a few hours in Hellfire today- just hit outlands at 58. I was running to the 3 control points and rolling some random horde, then taking out one of the 63 elite demons or huge crystal giants that spawn 4 little guys (forget their name), and just questing. It was pretty fun. Camping a 70 hunter that was camping my guildmate till the hunter spirit rezzed- that made the weekend better as well. :)

So, I guess there is a balance, but it gets overwhelming when you get more hate in a day than love. Hard to not react and contribute to more of it. *shrug*

Come by Dreanor if you want, I rarely get more than 'LOLWUT?" or asshat horde who try to stomp or teabag my gnomes - we get it, you don't like gnomes!

I've NEVER seen multiboxer's attacked in any of the chat channels, the server is pretty okay as a whole.

I've never been reported on my server, and I've openly discussed that I'm MBing two accounts in /General or in /whisper.

They may have fallen off - I noticed that about an hour after starting this thread here, CMs had locked a few of the threads I was thinking of. Don't worry - there will be about 20 more before the week is out I'm sure.

WSG is the most difficult BG to multibox, maybe you should try AB.
Also, BGs at level 19/29 is hell because of all the twinks. Level 49 multiboxing is pretty cool, depending on the randoms that join your team.

i went into the level 19 WSG as 2 non-twink mages and all i got was " good run mages guy!" after they died for the first time. spamming arcane missles FTW. when you multibox in a battleground bracket full of twinks everyone knows what you are doing.

i have a feeling that i am going to get a ton of hate on my warlocks in the BGs, they have just gotten much more hate than i expected after doing the mage thing for a while.

it really is annoying but there isn't much to do but try to get good at "letting it go". you just can't quit...that makes the haters win. stupid people should not be able to "beat" us with their bad attitudes. personally i just can't let that happen.

that's why i feverishly defend 1st-4th rocks in chat in battlegrounds even though he is my sworn enemy. you blue alien bastard! hahaa j/k

"why don't you go *$##* his **$**$ if you love him so much"

"cause i couldn't handle 4 ****s at once"

it seriously gets even worse than that.

I try to make a compromise in AV when I'm near a capped flag and low on mana. I think it's better to run in and die to allies rather than sit and drink. They feel that i'm not such a threat and I get my mana back. If I get hate from my side I heal and people seem to change their mind about it. For each person I heal I get a few "those shaman are awesome".

Yeah, healing is something everyone appreciates, even if they think you're botting.
